No Name Pub is one of the neatest places you can visit if you're staying in or around the middle Keys. Whereas it used to take a solid recommendation and a half dozen instructions from someone who's been there, nowadays you just need a smart phone to find the shortest route to No Name Pub. My recommendation is to shoot for about an hour before sunset and drive slowly through the various side streets to observe the evening feeding of the key deer, one of the key's most famous species and one of the Key's most respected, protected residents. No Name Pub offers great pizza and is entirely worth the drive off of the Overseas Highway, or the soon to be renamed Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway. Any pizza - give it a try. The unique qualities and one of a kind features of the pub are well noted online, so I'll skip over the hundred-thousand dollars of dollar bills stapled to the walls and beams around the pub. For practical recommendations, you'll probably find yourself with a short wait anytime around dinner time though I find it well worth it. They have, year after year, friendly staff and definitely good food. Nothing fancy, but hands down the best pizza in the area. Whenever I'm staying in/around Marathon Key we always try to find our way to No Name Pub at least once during our visit. I give them 4 stars however because I can't give them 5 stars on account of a couple things like the last time something totally got messed up with our order as if the kitchen overlooked our pizzas and they took a terribly long time to come out for some reason that the waitress totally ignored at every trip by our table. All the folks seated after us were eating already and our party of 5 were still waiting without any acknowledgement from our otherwise friendly server. One time before that they charged us for a to-go box which, as a pizza place, is utterly ridiculous. I don't know why that night they did that but I hope that was a one-off because although it only happened that one time, it would sink my review if it were to ever...

From walking in to experiencing the inside ambiance of countless years of dollar bills and the best pub type food in the Florida Keys. On this visit we had our usual go to Pizza…..you can’t go wrong and yes it’s the best pizza anywhere. The Caribbean Spice wings are 🔥but oh so flavorful. The Amber beer was awesome. If your looking for pizza, wings and cold beer in a very unique setting and out of the way place this is it. Don’t forget to end the night with their homemade key lime pie. Then if you timed it right be done by 7pm and drive over the bridge to No Name Key and experience a hands on excursion and encounter with the famous endangered key deer. Follow the road to the very end and experience some pretty cool views and foto ops.
Be sure to bring skeeter and no seeum repellent because they will tear you up. Please refrain from feeding the deer 😉 they’re pretty well undernourished this side of the bridge because the grass and vegetation is not dietary enough for them. I do know they love carrots and watermelon from what I’ve heard 😉 please be kind, gentle and leave no trash.
Be sure to drive extra slow and careful. On your way back over the bridge depending on how you timed your adventure will be one of the sweetest sunsets ever just please don’t stop on the bridge 😉. We went early September so very little people and vehicle traffic we pretty much had the place to ourselves @floridaboatkrewe we love our...
Read moreWe had heard about this place and we were in the area so we went in.
The good: we got a seat right away at a table. Our waitress, Katie, was very friendly and quick. She explained everything.
We got a shrimp pizza that was tasty. The crust was good and crispy on the edges. The sauce slightly piquant. The shrimp were the smaller salad size. Also, even though Katie warned us it might take 45 minutes, it was out in a lot less time.
The rest: If you love a good Bloody Mary, do not order one here. First I had tried to order a margarita.Katie explained they didn’t serve those since they only had a wine and beer license. So I asked about the Bloody Mary on the menu. She said it was wine based. And she said it came in the souvenir take home glass and was $15. You can’t get it without the glass. At that point I was out of decision making capacity so I ordered it. It was such a disappointment. First it had none of the bite that a vodka Bloody Mary has. Then they didn’t even try to help it out with Worcestershire sauce or horseradish or anything else. It did come with two shrimp and they were good. But just don’t bother. Next, the beer selection looked good on paper but they were out of a number of things. I can’t imagine Miller Lite is in short supply so I don’t know why. It was served in flimsy little plastic cups. For six bucks a beer, serve it with a glass for the love of God.
Conch fritters were ok but I’ve had better in the area.
Finally, those dollar bills. The idea seemed quaint and goofy. But those bills looked tired and old and gross. Enough already. Take them down and use the money to get some...
