Mud Creek Coffee — Restaurant in Stockbridge

This was our third time being here at mud creek in Stock bridge. My fiancé are getting married and thought this was the perfect place to meet with the pastor . Mind you this was a catholic pastor we were meeting with at the mud creek. Since we've been there prior with family. Thought this place was a nice and friendly , But way beyond over priced we've thought for there food. Still stopped in though for our family cause they liked this place a lot. So we figured this would be the perfect place to meet with a catholic pastor on 03/26/2015. We were doing no harm what so ever wasn't disturbing nobody at all. We were just there meeting with a pastor to see if we liked him to be able to marry us. We walked in lady was kinda rude right off the back. told us not to sit at the table we were getting ready to sit at. So ok fine no problem. So we went to the next table. sat there and chatted with the catholic pastor in regards to our wedding. Got up and left. Next thing we knew lady who we assumed was the owner came flying out and started yelling at us for no reason at all. Advised us didn't you see the sign saying there was no loitering. 1. We never saw the darn sign what so ever We weren't kids we were grown adults. we could see if we were kids totally could understand but grown adults that was damaging anything inside the coffee shop. 3. She was yelling at us right in front of a Catholic pastor. we couldn't say anything back to her cause of the Catholic pastor. Trust us we wanted so badly to yell back at her. I apologized to her telling her we did not see the sign what so ever 4. you can go to star bucks and sit there with no problem and not get yelled at like we did today that's 100% guaranteed. Went to green bay last Friday to meet with a pastor. Hmmm went to star bucks sat there no problem. Didn't get the third degree there like we did here at the Mud Creek coffee shop in stock bridge. that's what coffee shops are for to be able to go in relax and meet with people. Done this in Kaukauna coffee shop before as well but was for a job. didn't get yelled at there earthier. Pretty sad you can't go here to meet with a pastor and not het yelled at. This isn't good business for them at all. Word of mouth sure does get around and it's not good for this place. I will never ever go back to this place ever again due to the disrespectfulness we got from the manager. very unprofessional from her. Very over priced for what little bet of food you are served. I can get the same price of food I order and get a lot more from any other place I go to for breakfast. My fiancé always is still hungry after leaving this place for the small portions you are served. Like I said again I will never go here again due to the lady...

I've driven past Mud Creek for YEARS on my way to work without ever stopping in...but that changed yesterday ( Saturday, February 26th, 2022 ). I was also under the mistaken impression that this place was "only" a coffee shop...boy, was I ever wrong. This establishment struck me as VERY customer-friendly, which is something that seems to have fallen by the wayside in many places in the last few years.

My wife and I were joined by two of her sisters and a great niece and ALL of us were impressed with the food and drinks that we had. Personally I had a salted caramel mocha frappe and a spiced chicken almond wrap along with a cup of tomato bisque soup. God, all of this was simply HEAVENLY !! We spoke with the owner for about 10 minutes after we finished eating and he was very engaging, talkative and friendly. In the end I walked away absolutely convinced that I'd be coming back...and eagerly anticipating when that would be.

Several days ago ( a Sunday morning, I believe ) I decided to drive out to Stockbridge to get Mud Creek again as my wife and I had purchased two $ 25 gift cards in a fundraiser. I went in, poured over the menu and ordered a drink and a wrap as shown in the newest pictures. Wow...I almost sucked down my entire drink ( the Sea Salt Caramel Mocha Freeze ) before my Spiced Pecan Chicken Wrap arrived. Both were remarkably good and it was a reminder to me that I'm going to have to drive back out here again soon to enjoy some more of their amazing food and...

My wife and I travel the state of Wisconsin extensively. It is a nice drive from Fond du Lac to Manitowoc on highway 151. We always saw the sign for Mud Creek; but our turn-off was before we got there. This day we decided to check the place out. We were looking for coffee, tea and something sweet. Mud Creek did not disappoint. Excellent tea and coffee, with great chocolate to boot. There are vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. The baked items were tempting, they looked really good; and the four other people dining there were obviously enjoying their food. Now we know the extra five miles out of our way is well worth it; and we will patronize this place in the future. A very good place. Check it...
