Last night I was traveling and stopped down because I can get the grinders the way I got them as a child with cabbage instead of lettuce. I have eaten here numerous times when my son traveled for For sports or gotten takeout when I've traveled down to Pawcatuck. The food and the service has always been great. The atmosphere has always been great. Last night I was so excited to be able to get my grinder with cabbage. I was very disappointed and sadly now I am turned off the grinder I have loved for my whole life. I asked for it not to be toasted. I got it with another grinder got back to my daughter's apartment in New London the bread was hard it had been toasted the cabbage was browned on top and some of it cooked and some of it not. I had requested my grinder not be toasted. Hope the cooks and food preparers will be a little more careful checking the orders that they are done correctly especially for someone who is getting takeout. I will not stop coming to your restaurant but now sadly I don't know that I will get the takeout of the grinder I have loved for my whole life ever again because of this bad experience. I could only eat a few bites of my small grinder and then threw the rest away because it just did not have a good taste and was not what I had asked for...

Food ok (often overcooked, though) but horrible ordering experience. Complete mess. I ordered online and got a call back that the online menu is wrong and they don’t know how to fix it. So, I substituted the wrong item for my family member with something else. When I arrived, after waiting an additional 15 minutes from the original time on the online receipt - in case they needed it - they did not have part of my order ready. Oddly, the part of my order which was CORRECT on their online menu. In total, I waited 1 hour. (And they still gave me the wrong type of scallops when I finally received my food.) Luckily I had plenty of company while standing around waiting. They had messed up at least 2 other peoples’ orders. When I complained about wait, the manager or owner showed me an order ticket to try to explain the time estimate. But, it was (hilariously) the wrong ticket. There are many other options in the area. Until or unless they get their stuff...

Food great as always. Got there and sat outside. 10 mins after a grp of young girls came after their soccer game and sat outside as well. They were short staffed so it took a little longer to get our order in. The large group of kids all got their meals before us. Apparently one of the child's parents own this place. That child also went in and proceeded to serve her mother and another parent beer and wine. This kid was maybe 12 yrs old. This is against the law and clearly made other guests uncomfortable as well. The father who I assume is the owner proceeded to ask the waitress why it took so long for their food to come out. She said we are short staffed and very busy.

Just because you own the place doesn't mean that you serve yourself first before several tables of paying guests. You certainly don't have your underage kid go in and bring out alcohol...
