Well for starters when I walked inside the place smelled very bad like the fish was sitting in the sun for a long time seem like it’s a local joint very quiet on the date I placed my order after arriving two minutes down the road to the Kenworth repair shop on the way driving there. A very bad fish smell was inside the truck. I was driving once I parked the vehicle and open the plate. The smell burst out even more smell like a bad fish stench not fresh perhaps I’m not for sure just smell like the fish was sitting out of the water for days I go fishing I can get my fish fresh even after cleaning the fish and placing it into the fridge and taking it out it would not have that type of smell, the smell that was inside the building and on the food the fish Plane not seasoned the batter was not the greatest the fries perhaps stale the mail itself cost $16 and I personally feel it was a waste. Maybe I picked the wrong dish. It was a simple fish and fries meal. I will be a customer. I travel the country and try different foods, different places, and this will not be a returning visit to those customers who love the joint you guys have a stomach of steel I think they can use chef Ramsey in there to help them with their menus with the handling of the fish the food. Also, the lady behind the bar she was OK. I just found it very rude. I provided her with my card in her hand after she swiped my card, she placed my card on the table as I have my hand held out for her to put it in my hand very rude. She placed the pin and the receipt for me to sign on the table as I also have my hand reaching out for that as well Everything I hint to her the pen and the receipt and I tipped her on the top of that and everything went into her hand. I don’t understand why anyone in customer service dealing with cash card a face-to-face transaction will not show someone respect by put it in their hand I pretty much felt very unwelcome. Maybe it was the color of my skin, 🤷🏾 but I definitely got treated differently. Anyways, Happy...
Read moreTusday 1230 pm I walked in and the bar tender took about 5 minutes to great me at the sign that says please wait to be seated. And she asked me how can I help you. I asked to be seat and she told me to go sit down. Lol I ordered the 6 wing and fries. As I wait I notice it is very dark so if your looking to eat at a bar with very little light this place is for you for there happy hour. I also notice that the bar tender/waitress never gave me her name so getting her attention was terrible. She really didn't seem welcoming to me.so when the food. Came she placed me food on the other side of the table. My food took about 15 mins. And I was nervous a out if the wings where done. The wings were either old or over cooked they where very dry and the fries are frozen pre-seasoned.waiting on new wing with cold fries. My greater/bartender/Manger didn’t came and ask me if I was ok I had to get the attention of another waitress to see that I had a problem. I got a second batch of wings that took 3 mins to cook they must be precooked wings....
Read moreThis past weekend my family was able to host a surprise party at Jabby Joe’s, for an early celebration for my mom’s 60th birthday. We originate from New Jersey and wanted to include her siblings who are from the Cleveland area. When we were researching places to host the party, Jabby Joe’s was suggested to me by an event coordinator. I spoke with Sara several times and she was always so beyond helpful and sweet. She explained very well how the room worked, what Caterer was required to use and the different options for the bar. Upon arriving Ricky was helping with the food and anything he could have. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING from GOOSE CATERING!! Kaylynn was an excellent bartender, oftentimes doing rounds to check and make sure everyone had what they needed. The space was perfect for our family, especially with our toddler running around. Ricky was even great with him! Thank you so much to Sara, Ricky, and Kay for hosting an amazing get together for us!! We highly recommend using Jabby Joe’s...
