Abdalla's Tavern and Grill — Restaurant in Stratton

The steak salads were ok, generous portions, but I was overly doused with French fries and my husband was overly doused with cheese on our salads. It's time to start investing some money back into the restaurant/bar. It's run down and needing renovations. Be careful of your waitress telling you at the end of your meal what you owe, instead of showing you on a bill what you owe. She told us we owed $51.50, and when my husband called her out on an obviously inflated bill total, she eventually came back and made out a bill showing we owed $44. First of all, let me say that this first part of the review has nothing to do with the food. We stopped here on our way from a baseball tournament in Youngstown. The power steering fluid in our car suddenly started leaking out in Youngstown and we filled it up but by the time we got to Stratton it was out again. We tried to find some at the little store across from Abdalla’s but they were out. We talked to a bus boy in the restaurant and he not only tried to get us some locally… he sent someone to get some from 5 miles up the road in Toronto. That is truly above and beyond like I’ve never experienced. The food was amazing by the way. The experience… priceless. Highly recommend. You don’t find good people like this...

Paid my bill....won't go back. $23+ steak and given butter knives to cut it with. It was hard to cut and ordered medium well so it shouldn't have been difficult. Overall it wasn't worth the cost but the worst was yet to come. I asked for boxes and the waitress came back with 3 boxes lined with foil. The box hit the floor, the outside hit so I was like okay whatever but then the foil hit the floor. It was picked up and placed back in the box and then the box was laid directly on my half of a steak to bring home.
