From being a longtime slim and Chubbs fan from the Cleveland location, I was heartbroken when they left the area. This Week I went to the Strongsville location where I was looking forward to the same service and atmosphere that they had at the Cleveland location, but I was wrongly mistaken. The Strongsville locations atmosphere has so much potential but is very outdated and needs a lot of work. The service was trash, it took about 15 minutes for us to be greeted and took about a half an hour for us to receive the Check after we asked for it. The food was also trash. One bite of our food and it made us not want anymore. Not once did our server ask if there was something wrong with the food since we wasn’t eating it. I’m a former server and bartender so I expect the same service as I would get if I was in that situation whether we are busy or not, and unfortunately, our server did not do that. I will tell you I walked into this bar with high expectations and left with low. The 30 minute travel to come here was a waste of time and I will never go to that bar again. Read moreThrew a surprise retirement party for my mother in law this past Saturday and it was PERFECT!!!!!! We showed up and had a table set however I became a little overwhelmed due to bringing a bunch of decorations before I even know what the setup would look like. (MY FAULT) lol But within minutes of my arrival to set up they insisted we take the entire right section of the patio for the party because it was such a beautiful day! TO WHAT WE SAID ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!! Lol They let us put up our decorations anywhere we wanted, were sooooo helpful with taking the cake and putting in the fridge, being sooooo consistent with drinks and food and anything we needed, and they even helped look for my husband and his mom when they came in and totally helped with the surprise moment!!!! I couldn’t be happier with how everything went!! It was a perfect day and a perfect party at the PERFECT place! Every single person came up to me saying how amazing the service was and how sweet everyone was! THANK YOU SO MUCH SLIM & CHUBBY’S!!!!
