Longfin Grill — Restaurant in Stuart

We stayed at one of the privately owned cabins at Blue Ridge Passage Resort for a long weekend. Not only does the Longfin Grill (food truck now with the COVID-19 issue) offer the best food in Meadows of Dan, but I'd put it up against anywhere. Everything we ordered was EXCELLENT! I had the seafood platter with fish, scallops and shrimp and the batter was light and seafood done to perfection. My husband had the full rack of ribs and they fell off the bone with a nice smokey flavor. We also had the Ceviche which was the best I've had in a long time. We will be ordering there again tonight. I want to try the mahi-mahi tacos or the yellowfin tacos and my husband is up for the Cuban pork tacos. Call in your order in advance because they do get busy. I was looking for a hidden gem. Had to travel to Hillsville today and wanted something beyond fast food for lunch. I learned a valuable lesson, don’t always trust google reviews (funny right?)…. With 4.8 stars I thought I couldn’t go wrong. The menu prices were pretty high for a food truck, but I figured it would be amazing grub. It wasn’t. All three meals my family received were breaded and fried, poorly at that. The breading fell off everything before it got to your mouth. Two grouper(fish stick)tacos, 8 shrimp, 5 bay scallops with fries, and a chicken tender sandwich with fries $50! We left hungry..So that’s the food…. 11/1 EDIT: Owner replied. IDK how to reply back to him, so I edit----They do not have Styrofoam and that was my bad decision because we did not order food so I edited it out. You can either eat in your car or in their "dining room." We have a child in a wheelchair so wanted to sit her in the "dining room" while we go to the food truck outside to order. The "dining room" had 2 folding tables, well 3. 2 were usable. The 3rd was stacked with junk and supplies. The other 2 had ppl at the tables. We left so to rate the food is not possible.
