I went in to get a big bacon classic meal with a lemonade for lunch. The guy on the register was new & had not been properly trained. He was doing his best so I give no fault to my experience to this young man. I was very patient & encouraging to him. He asked for help from his manager Melissa on several occasions & she finally came when he messed up the cash transaction on the register. When I got to my car I checked my food & saw no bacon on my burger. I go back in & she tells me she'll remake the sandwich & then she said no I put bacon on that sandwich, so I look again & all I finally see under a mound of mayo & onions is 1 piece of bacon, so I say oh ok I see it now but it's not much. She proceeds to catch an attitude & informs me there's 3 pieces on there. I just walked back out. The lady in line behind me patted me on my shoulder because the disrespect from the manager Melissa was very uncalled for. I was very patient & nice to the young man on the register as he was trying to figure out how to get my food rung up because she had not properly trained him & I did not deserve the attitude I received from the manager. I had stopped going to this Wendy's because on more than one occasion in the past I had paid with my card at the drive thru & had to ask for my card back so I started doing cash only here. No one from my household will be going back to this establishment after this experience with Melissa the hateful...
Read moreIt pains me to say it because this place USED to be good, but good Lord it's just a joke now. The past 3 times I've been (over like a 4 month timeframe) have just been unmitigated disasters. Went there at like 2pm on a Saturday a few months back only to find out the dining room was closed. The customer standing outside had to tell me that. I did not waste my time at the drive through, I just went to our Subway, which is a good restaurant. Went there another time after that and ordered 2 burgers/fries combo at the drive through. They gave us 2 10 piece chicken nugget meals (weren't even 10 pieces, more like 6). I didn't feel like wasting my time with the people inside to make it right. Just went there tonight and was informed that they're out of every meat besides chicken...as a burger place? That is literally a comedy skit, I couldn't help but laugh as I took what might be the saddest excuse for a chicken sandwich I've seen. At least they were able to make a frosty somewhat appealing.
At this point just shut the store down and open something else. It's clearly an issue that starts at the store, if not regional manager. Sad when you're 1 of like 3 fast food places in a small town....but at least they had their Netflix Wednesday collab...
Read moreI recently stopped by the Wendy's in Stuart, VA hoping for a quick and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was far from it. From the moment I stepped inside, it was evident that the restaurant was understaffed, with a majority of young employees seemingly overwhelmed by the customer volume. The wait time for my order was excessive, even for fast food standards. It felt like an eternity before I finally received my food. When it arrived, I was disappointed to find that the quality was below Wendy's usual standards. To make matters worse, the overall experience was soured by the prolonged wait. It's clear that this Wendy's location needs to address its staffing issues and implement strategies to improve order processing times. Additionally, the restaurant should prioritize food quality to maintain customer satisfaction. While I understand that young people are eager to learn and grow, there seems to be a lack of experienced staff to guide and support them. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and improvements are made. Until then, I'll be hesitant to return to this...
