Sweets & Eats — Restaurant in Suamico

Came in and started off as a good experience after a nice day at the zoo. Ordered a chicken tender basket with a lemonade for the kiddos. When we were waiting he scolded us bc my kids were playing with napkins. Yes napkins. Owner brought me a Pepsi which he charged me $1 extra for and when I advised him we ordered a lemonade he said well I don't know how that could have happened and I also proceeded to tell him he owed me a dollar back. He began to question me more and essentially call me a liar referencing that he had to press two extra buttons to get to soda and I said my kids do not even drink soda so why would I order it. He said well I don't know I was wondering why you didn't order two combo baskets and I said wow we will not be back. My kids are 1 and 3 and will not eat all that food. This guy was rude needs a lesson on how to run a restaurant in the service industry. I think he realized he was wrong as he brought two lemonades to the table since I had two kids. What a terrible experience just trying to take my kids to a different restaurant that seemed like a really great place. Well culvers it is next...

I would give this place a zero if I could. We stopped 5/28/17 around 6:30 p.m. for mini golf and maybe dinner. We ended up not doing either since none of the three employees that looked at us said a word to us or came to help us. There were few people here and the gals who should have said something or helped us at the counter didn't stop her poor job of mopping or putting dishes back or restocking, or whatever they were doing that is more important than a greeting or a simple "I'll be right with you." Great old school soda shop vibe place for kids young and old. Great soft serve, pizzas and burgers. Right by the Zoo so stop in before or after... OR, hear me out... BOTH since they have food and ice-cream AND 18 holes of MINI GOLF! Feed your troops, go to the Zoo. Feed the Giraffes then come back for the rest. There, your weekend is planned.
