Beautiful location. Beautiful old church. Very well done. Friendly greeting when we walked in. We sat at the bar and informed the bartender we were first timers. The mead he suggested was yummy . Unfortunately, I'm not a big drinker and there was nothing I wanted to drink. No tea, no club soda no diet coke. I ended up settling for water. We ordered a Colony club salad and a Bacon cheeseburger pizza. Salad came quickly. When it was sat in front of me, I had no plates, utensils or napkins. I was unaware I had to get my own from across the room. I am not ok with a restaurant that willingly allows their patrons to feel ignorant. I'm also not a fan of using disposable. Especially when I am out with my husband for a dinner, my preference. The pizza came afterwards and I do appreciate the concept but my pizza had VERY little meat on it. It was mostly lettuce and tomato. I ate an entire piece with no meat. I did enjoy the crust though. No salt/pepper available. No dessert menu. It is an informal concept. I was not looking for that experience that evening so I did leave dissatisfied. But, the other patrons were clearly having a wonderful time and the atmosphere was warm and happy. I may go back in the summer because do love local and as I said the mead was delicious. My biggest issue was definitely my not knowing the concept of the meadery. So if you are ok with seating yourself. Queing to order and eating off disposable plates and utensils then you may like it. I personally prefer a more complete...

I was reluctant to go because I have had mead before and didn't care for it. My wife and I were greeted almost immediately as we entered and a very friendly bartender named Rachel took care of us. We explained it was our first time and she walked us through all the different options and made a couple recommendations based off what we told her. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience very comfortable. She then offered us some food which we accepted and got a pizza that was one of the best we've ever had. Some sort of a shift change happened and she went out front while we were finishing our dinner. But I noticed that she never stopped moving. She cleaned and wiped and cleaned and re-merchandised the whole time we were there. We took a couple bottles to go and I gave her a tip. She brought it to the bar and it looks like they share tips.... This was the only thing I was disappointed with in my visit. When I have someone really take good care of me I want them to get my tip and normally give them a little extra for their efforts. Not saying anything bad about the other girls but Rachel has excellent work ethics and a great demeanor for a customer facing position... This was nice to see in a young person. Overall a great visit but please consider changing your tipping to allow the girls that are going out of their way to ensure a positive customer experience are rewarded by the...

We recently celebrated Valentine's Day at Crafted Artisan Meadery and it was quite the experience!

Housed in a beautifully repurposed church, the atmosphere was warm, inviting and perfect for a romantic evening. The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the vast size of the building and thoughtful array of merchandise. From unique meads to shirts, jewelry and home decor, there was something for everyone.

Our server was very friendly, recommending several flights and we decided on two that perfectly complemented our meal choices. I selected the Taste of the Season Flight, which featured 5 fall and winter themed meads; my favorites being Ember (guava, passion fruit) and Spiced Maple Cranberry. Melissa chose the Berry Patch Flight, which featured berry prominent meads with names like Raspberry Nirvana and Macho Mead Berry Savage

The pizzas were a standout! The crust was full & crisp and the toppings were generous (mostly) & delicious. We ordered the El Taco Luchador and Green Knight pizzas. I wish the taco pizza would have had more meat, but I guess they have to make it last all year? 😁

The special Valentine's Day cocktails were well crafted and perfectly presented. I had the Chocolate Cherry Manhattan and honestly - one of the best Manhattans I've had in a long time!

Crafted Meadery has plenty of parking with a huge lot out front. The meads here are exceptionally well done as well, very well balanced, and easy to drink they tend to be very sweet, but not in a bad way they are very easy and pleasant to drink. The food here is shockingly good. They only have a few shareable and then pizza. The pizza is kind of a standard bar pizza, but there are a few creative pizzas on the menu that make it above the average bar pizza. Like one themed around a coney dog. To order food, just approach the bar. A bar tender will get your order and give you a table number. Ypu will seat yourself after that. When you walk in the entrance, the bar is off to the left in the church part of the building. Food came out quickly after ordering as well. Be warned most nights the kitchen does close earlier than the bar. It will usually close 1 hour before the bar does so when it says here on Google they close at 10 pm the kitchen will close at 9. Overall, it is really a hidden gem.

Loved the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks. Every mead we tried was delicious! The location is unique and beautiful. I hope they pay their servers a realistic wage, though, because the food prices were high. Additionally, all ordering is done at the bar, so aside from pouring your beverages, there’s no service; getting water, napkins, utensils, and plates is all up to you. I dunno about you, but I like tipping my servers - just not when I’m the one doing all the heavy lifting. I’d happily recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes pizza and mead, but I’d also recommend that the owner change the business model to make it easier on the patrons (which might result in better tips for the staff).
