I am giving Open Range 1 star and that’s only because they’re food is pretty decent and their Sunday bartender is fantastic. We absolutely LOVED going here as a regulars at first because of the Sunday bartender, but then we started going on Friday and Saturday nights and even some week nights and the service just got worse and worse. Yesterday we walked in and went right up to the bar, which was not even full. Both bartenders looked at us and turned away. It’s always the same there.. you wait 20 mins just to get a beer and a menu, then you wait another 20 to order food and you’re lucky if you even get 2 drinks the whole time you’re there. We always feel completely ignored and it is the worst because we go there all the time. There is a lady that’s always there.. I mean ALWAYS! I’m pretty sure she is the owner/ manager.. She is always giving us dirty looks and it’s very uncomfortable. Last night experience was the last straw. We literally sat there waiting for a drink and maybe 8 mins go by, then the guy next to us gets up and goes to the bathroom and the bartender opens a fresh beer and sets it where he was sitting and turned away from us again!! The man wasn’t even in his seat and he is getting beers! I literally had to wave her down. I’m just done with the service here. Unless you know people here, you’re unwelcome. This place needs a major change. It is clearly poorly managed. We had considered having our wedding here, but I would rather get married at...

I really like the food at this restaurant however was pretty dissatisfied at how they did the mothers day brunch. 1st they did not seat like a regular restaurant. It was like a cattle call with about 100 to 150 people all showing up at the same time for the same reservation. NEVER have I ever seen this done before. It was not more efficient for the paying customers because of course that means everyone going to buffet at the same time. It was wait wait wait. 1st to get inside then to get to your seat and then everytime you went to buffet. 20 min. Then we. were seated in the loft which I was warned that I would be seated there and didn't mind doing the stairs but did mind the fact that it was uncomfortably hot up there to a point where they really should mention it to their guests before hand so they can dress accordingly! It was not an enjoyable experience at all compared to other brunch buffets I have been too. 2nd the cost was ridiculous about 30 per person and nothing special wouldn't pay more than 15 for that! Very limited for the price. overall I would not return for the mothers day brunch. I get that prices go up on holidays but aside from that the experience overall wasn't great! I will come back for the...

Being out of towners we always try to look for something different from the norm. After reading a few reviews we decided to try it. The good news is the food is excellent!! My husband had the pork shoulder w/ mac & cheese and sweet potato fries. I had the ribs with jicama slaw and tempura zucchini. The bad news...it took almost an hour to get our food and service was seriously lacking. Our waiter was at our table a total of 3x in the almost 2 hours we were there. He took our order, brought our main entree, and brought the check. He didn't bring out the app (beer nuggets) which is fine but he never bothered to check back once we got our app. If it wasn't for another young lady coming by and asking us about refills we wouldn't have gotten any. Not sure if he was having an off night or what. Also not sure why it took our food so long either. They weren't too busy when we came in and we were seated right away and they did get busier as we sat there but we had already placed our order. We try to be understanding as we know places are short staffed, etc. but at what point do you draw the line? Overall we both said we would try it again as we really enjoyed the food and maybe it was just...

Our first time here, but definitely won't be the last. Would qualify as a hidden gem, but clearly it's a popular local place based on how many people were there. Great service! Food is quite tasty, and very reasonably priced, especially with such large portions offered. Would have given 5 stars if more low carb options available, but we all did leave FULL. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable, even with kids, but the bar section was very crowded and noisy and made it somewhat loud in the dining area. The jicama slaw was an excellent change from the everyday cabbage variety, and the steak bites appetizer was absolutely phenomenal. Brussels sprouts are typically my favorite veggie but these were soft-steamed and I like mine crispy-roasted, so next time will go with green beans. Our server was on top of everything and accommodating to my questions and requests. Buy one, get one pizza special was an unexpected bonus and allowed us to bring home lots of leftovers without breaking the bank. We will be back for sure!

Attended a private party here in the Pine Room. Clean and spacious. Staff was attentive, courteous, and efficient in keeping the buffet stocked and dishes cleared from tables. Not a restaurant we would normally choose as vegetarian items are limited. But we enjoyed the food selected for the party and can see why our hosts chose this venue. Salad was especially good, with really fresh greens and a few items to add if desired. Pizzas had generous cheese and other toppings.

Surprisingly a very nice place with great food. It’s not common to come around places that know how to make great Mac & cheese but Open range is certainly one! I only gave the food a 4 because the Brussels sprouts weren’t to my liking (bit over done, personally that’s me) but I would highly recommend!
