Polly's is as a much a part of my childhood as the railroad tracks that lead to it through Sugarcreek Village and the pennies I used to leave for the trains with my Mother. You haven't lived in Venango County until you've had a twist cone or a banana split from Polly's. Their ice cream is the real deal. Not much has changed since my first memories in 1977. You can see the big red parrot sticking out along Rt 322 letting you know that Polly's is waiting for you. So stop by and experience the nostalgia and delight. There is no finer ice cream in Venango County... And if you give the railroad tracks a stroll leave a penny or two for the trains.

Great service. Excellent food. Fantastic prices! A trip home is not complete without a stop at Polly’s. No where else can you get a loaded hotdog, fries and a drink for $4.30. Prices you can feed your family. Three of us got dinner and a treat for under $20! Trip home complete! And we’ll be back again every trip home.

One of my all time favorite places to go to grab some ice cream. Polly's is nestled along the cutest creek with the sound of water going by and a pretty cool train track. Has areas to sit and relax. The ice cream cones are what they are known for because you get what you pay for! I can never finish a small cone!! Haha

I love pollys. Always have! Their soft serve and all the different yummy ice cream flavors are great... I rated it 2 stars because they take forever. And I mean a very, very verrrry long time.. And it was ridiculous. They take forever to take your order, and they take forever to prepare and make your food. We waited 25 minutes just for 3 chicken tenders, all for them to tell us they forgot about us. (also, they had 3 girls standing around inside not doing anything, but talking.) So we waited another 10 minutes for them to finally deep fry the chicken tenders. So it was a good half hour later until we received our food, and it wasn't even busy. Probably 5 other cars besides ours. The service isn't as good as it used to be.. If it wasn't for the entirely WAAAAY too long waits and the forgetfulness when it comes to your customers and their orders, I probably would have rated them better. Macs snax in Franklin is my #1. They blow pollys out...

This last visit deserved one star, but I'll give two for past visits that were mediocre, not terrible. The vanilla ice cream is flavorless, just a cool mess on a cone. It is a dark yellow color which is odd. They have cut back on the candy portion added to their Arctic Swirl, their version of a Blizzard, so much so that you need a magnifying glass to find the few pieces, certainly not a piece in each spoonful. I ordered a fudge brownie sundae that had no fudge, no whipped cream and no brownies. NONE! It had tiny brown candy pieces that where a gross texture and odd flavor. When I questioned the lack of fudge on my Sundae I was dismissed and ignored. I paid double the cost of a cone for the same amount of ice cream and gross candy I never asked for and they refused to talk with me to resolve the issue. I will not return with my extended family of 12 people. Worst service for barely...

Polly's used to be the best place to get chili dogs. I took my daughter and her son there over the weekend and told her I was going to get her the best chili dog she would ever have! She got a real good laugh out of it, but I was embarrassed! We ordered 2 chili & Cheese dogs, another with only ketchup on it, and 2 large ice waters. The total was $16.98. When our order was ready, there were 3 shriveled up hot dogs on dried up buns with a little bit of sauce. I waited for the water and she yelled around me, who is next? I told her I ordered ice water also and she said it didn't say that on the slip. She waited on the next customer and again, I told her I ordered 2 waters. Finally, another girl told her I was to get the water and she got them but was very rude about it. I am very disappointed with the entire stop! This place is NOT what it...
