If I could give 0 stars, I would!!! I’m down here to visit a friend. We were initially told the wait was approximately 30 minutes. We came back 40 minutes later and there was still a wait for a table. The Hostess, Emily (not sure if she’s the Owner and/or Manager) asked if we’d like drinks since we were STILL waiting for a table, so we said sure. I think the assumption was that was going to be comped (more on that later). I have lots of food allergies so I ordered the special of fried chicken w/ greens and asparagus. I specifically asked if it was white meat and the waitress assured me it was. So my dish comes and it looks like a chicken wing and not sure what the other piece of chicken was BUT NOT WHITE MEAT 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️, you can see the chicken in my picture. At this point I’ve waited 1.5 hours for a table by the front door which wasn’t desirable AND the white meat fried chicken, which it WAS NOT white meat. It took approximately 25 minutes for the food to come. I was going to just eat the collard greens and asparagus but they were cold. I’m SO TURNED OFF at this point. SIGH - you get 1 time to mess up my food and then I’m good. They brought me another margarita, which was billed and club soda was in it. At this point I think the waitstaff, Emily and whoever the other blond woman was ready for me to leave. Soooo the bill comes. Not only were we charged for the 3 drinks while we waited for a table, they DID NOT comp my drink for screwing up my dinner. NO ONE came over to apologize for my botched dinner - SIGH. As a small Business Owner I get that mistakes are made, an apology or an opportunity to make it right goes a long way. Founded in 2003, thanks, but I WILL NOT back. Every once in a while you “find” a great place that has been right in front of you all along. High Thyme is one of those places! We came in for dinner for the first time recently and were blown away and couldn’t believe it has been an option for us for so many years and we just have been missing out. The food was incredible, portions generous, service friendly and knowledgeable and the wine was very reasonably priced with great selection. We arrived right at 5 and the dining area had plenty of tables available but it appeared as though the bar may have opened up a bit earlier because every stool was already filled. By 5:30 the dining room was also packed (this was a Saturday night in between Christmas and New Year’s for reference). All in all we are thrilled to find another great spot on Sullivan’s and can’t wait to go back. Definitely aspiring regulars.

My family and I eat brunch here almost every time we stay at Wild Dunes - the food and service are always outstanding. Last night was my first time eating dinner here and I have to say these folks outdid themselves! Our waitress, Beth, was patient and did a great job of spacing out our courses, allowing us to relax and really enjoy ourselves. I ordered the beef tenderloin and I can honestly say it was the best meal I've had in years. My steak was done perfectly and was SO tender and flavorful, with a wonderful bit of char on the outside. Apart from great food and great service, they also did a great job of spacing everyone out and cleaning each table thoroughly after guests left. I am so glad that they seem to be thriving during this pandemic - we will be patrons of High Thymes for years to come. Thanks for a...
