Truly a "Moveable Feast!"
Every morning, I embark on a delightful ritual that elevates my senses and sets the tone for an extraordinary day. The Co-Op, a portal to a realm of sensory wonder, has transformed my mornings into captivating experiences that burst with vibrant colors and enchantment.
From the moment I enter, I'm greeted by a symphony of aromas that weave together in a harmonious dance. The rich, earthy fragrance of freshly brewed coffee mingles with the sweet melody of freshly made Frose. It's as if the air itself is infused with the essence of comfort and indulgence.
Within this sanctuary, the atmosphere is alive with an energy that pulsates like a kaleidoscope of vivid hues. The walls are adorned with vibrant artwork, depicting scenes that transport me to the early aughts and evoke a sense of nostalgia. Sunlight streams through the large windows, casting a warm golden glow illuminating the space, creating an inviting haven for thirsty islanders.
The baristas, Kat and Tracy, know me by name and recite my order from memory; what more could you ask for!
The symphony of sound within The Co-Op is a delightful cacophony. The gentle hum of conversation blends with the rhythmic clinking of the frothing machine serving lattes one after another, creating a vibrant backdrop. Laughter cascades through the air like a playful melody, intermingling with the soft melodies emanating from hidden speakers, creating an atmosphere that feels lively and serene.
Hemingway once wrote, "It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end." At The Co-Op, the journey is indeed a significant part of the experience. The warmth of the atmosphere envelops me like a comforting embrace, thawing the chill of the outside world. The textures, the scents, the flavors—they all intertwine to create a tapestry of delight that lingers long after the final sip.
In this extraordinary realm, time slows down, allowing me to savor every moment. Each cup of coffee and bite of my avacado toast is a story waiting to be unfolded, a voyage of discovery. The taste lingers on my palate, awakening my senses and leaving behind a symphony of flavors that dance with joy.
The Co-Op is more than a coffee shop—it's a sanctuary of artistry and sensory enchantment. It's a place where the mundane is transformed into the extraordinary, where each visit is a celebration of life's simple pleasures. Step into this vibrant tapestry, surrender yourself to its alluring embrace, and let the Co-Op transport you to a realm where every sip is a vibrant stroke on the canvas...
Read moreMy family and I have been coming to Co Op all of the time and love the atmosphere, staff and food! The food is absolutely amazing and very tasty! My favorite food item in the California Turkey. The combination of turkey, avocado and sprouts is amazing and super tasty! I love how there is a gluten free bread option since I am gluten free so that is awesome that they can accommodate those with allergies. Also, the wild berry and pretty in pink smoothies taste very healthy and amazing! The bomb butter and blender bomb are excellent combinations with the smoothies! There are so many amazing food combinations that taste phenomenal!
The staff is very friendly and they do everything they can to make sure that your order comes out correct and that your experience is great! All the staff also have strong customer service skills and great communication with all of there customers! When ordering online, you are given an estimated time that the food will be ready and when you get there the food is ready to go and is nice and warm for to go orders!
This is a great place to grab a bite to eat and hang out with some friends outside in the tent! The atmosphere is very peaceful and nice! There are heaters so if it cold the staff can turn those on for us and it makes it more romantic and cozy.
I love the merchandise because all the t-shirts are cute colors, one time they had gluten free zucchini bread for valentines day and that tasted so good and they also have the blender bomb and bomb butter that they put in there smoothies that you can buy! They also have other small food options by the merchandise and plenty of drinks in bottles in a mini refrigerator when entering the restaurant/deli. Lots of food options with plenty of great...
Read moreWhile it was good, it wasn't what was expected. We were looking for ice cream and saw a sign that clearly stated soft serve ice cream. We walked in to this adorable little shop that had a menu of food items, their specialty appeared to be frose' (frozen rose' wine) and a small little sign for chocolate and vanilla soft serve. We had already had lunch so we didn't want food. Although rhe menu did look interesting. The frose' intrigued me, especially when I saw I could get a flight of four 4 Oz samples. I tried 4 of the 5 flavors-blueberry, blood orange, prickly pearl (favorite) and the standard strawberry. Not sure blueberry was actually blueberry. Was a very light pink color and didn't get much of the blueberry flavor. The interesting thing was that when they presented the flight to me on the paddle, two of them had gummies floating on top. Let's just say I wasn't expecting to see male anatomy in my wine. I was not offended in the least,, but could see that some may be. My husband and I cracked up laughing as I was drinking my flight. Sure to be a memory of our trip to Sullivan's Island. And yes, my husband did get ice cream. He got a chocolate cone...but had to wait while they fixed the machine. It was just a couple minutes and they had offered something else if he didn't want to wait. The staff were all very kind. We sat at the window where they have chairs outside looking in. Adorable little place, and would definitely stop back by if...
