The Open-Face Breakfast with biscuits & sausage gravy was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend paying the extra $0.25 to choose over-easy eggs with it instead of scrambled cause the over-easy yolk adds just enough fluid to balance the huge fluffy biscuits. I also added hashbrowns and they were just the right amount of crispy* Pancakes were a little tough to cut with the dull butter knife but they were still fluffy. --Only gripe would be they need to offer real maple syrup as an alternate to the corn syrup offering* FORTUNE TELLER SAYS, A RETURN TRIP IS DEFINITELY IN OUR FUTURE!!!!!

Had the Poor Boy combo with two fluffy pancakes and the wife had the omelet. Great breakfast. Love the shredded hash browns, patty sausage and those big fluffy pancakes. Omelet came with toast a gravy (they ran out of biscuits as they are popular). Lucky we came at right time and found an open table. Cafe filled up while we were waiting on the food. Great service as usual. Customers lean toward the older side of the scale and appear to be mostly local repeat customers. Love the food, prices, service and atmosphere.

This place is a little inconvenient, as it is way out by the airport. They do not take credit cards, so you must BRING CASH. The food was good, the service was GREAT! The atmosphere was crammed and awkward but NOT a deal breaker. You should be prepared to wait. It was packed. The place was clean, including the restrooms and all the staff was friendly. The food was really good and in large portions. Two of us had a BIG breakfast for 18 bucks. This place is worth the trip.

We have passed by the place more times than I can count, the other day we stopped in for breakfast and it was NOT a mistake! The menu was filled with choices many choices. I love a good hamburger steak but very few places even offer that choice....they do. Back to breakfast, we had western omelets and they were delicious! The wait staff is awesome, our waitress made sure we had everything we needed, our coffee cups were never empty. She treated us like we were her only table which of course we weren't. The prices are more than fair, the servings are just right, not to much and certainly not to little. The next time we're in town we will most certainly stop in for lunch, I can't wait to have one of their hamburger steaks, my wife's choice is the chicken fried steak. If you're in Sulphur Springs Texas, by all means stop in for a meal, you'll be...

My first time here. I ordered the Fried Chicken Breast. It’s served with a salad, fries or baked potato, gravy and Texas toast.

The service was okay. I asked for water with lemon, didn’t get any lemon. The salad came first. It was of course bagged salad with cheese thrown on top; nothing special.

Then the meal came. We didn’t get Texas toast. We got a hard, baked brick that I’m sure was supposed to resemble a biscuit. The fried chicken was overly loaded with too much salt. That is seriously all I could taste. I can’t stress enough how much it tastes like a salt chunk, Parts of it were also burnt. So either the oil needs changed, or they fried it too high. The fries were the only good part of the meal.

I would not recommend this place, and I sure won’t...
