Paradise Grill & Daiquiris — Restaurant in Sulphur

Went here to get a burger and a drink but was disappointed. The menu is a board with no prices on it and a QR code that's supposed to take you to a menu with prices (Kind of defeats the purpose of having physical menu's?) and it doesn't even work, the server also did not properly know the menu and insisted on her decision that the cowboy burger is not actually a burger but a chicken sandwich, which there's a beef and chicken variation. She also didn't know what the pictures of food on the menu were and referred to them with the incorrect item names. I ended up ordering the jalapeno burger and it was bad. The bun was soggy and ripped apart like a napkin, the beef was overcooked tremendously as it was black, dry, and rubbery, there were also no jalapenos on the jalapeno burger. The fries were cooked good but WAY too much salt. I couldn't even see the potato on some of the fries. I also got a long island iced tea which is actually an alcoholic lemonade instead of a real LIT. Extremely disappointed and cost way too much money for the quality of food given. Train your staff properly and fix the QR code or put the prices on the menu and this place could be good. Was told the crawfish was good by several people inside the restaurant so other than that, this place sucks. Just go to Mr Bill's in Lake Charles until this place gets their head's...

I went to this place yesterday Friday 2/28/25, my buddy who recommended this place went with me, we’re from The Houston and We are both working in the Lake Charles area. He told me the shrimp was really good, I was expecting good crawfish but…. Instead, we literally had to wave down a waiters after waiting for a while because we were completely ignored. When the waiters came by she asked “ has anyone helped y’all yet” we said no, and then she walked away after about 3 minutes she returned to tell us that she could only sell us drink and not food… and I said I didn’t come here for the drinks I came to eat, she then said that the owner told her to tell us that because they were waiting on a big party come in. The place was half empty and while we were still there a table of about 10 people started to leaving. So we left… I don’t care if this is the only place open next time I’m there I’m definitely not...

I came in about 1:20p and wanted seafood boil, but it didn't start till about 4p. Emma and Jake help my husband and I with our order. First off message to Ro the manager and David the owner these two employees went beyond and over what was expected. They talked with my husband and I made us laugh suggest what was good on the menu and more, they wasn't up tight 😉 but more so friendly helpful and full of energy! Two weeks ago we came and had a female employees was so so ugly, rude, not social, and most of all lack in making sure we were okay not to mention the guys sitting next to us complained about her and her attuide. Emma and Jake really set the mood and made us enjoy our time even talked my husband and I to staying till 4p to get the boil menu.
