Waffle House — Restaurant in Summerdale

Best Waffle House I've ever been to! Everyone who works at the Summerdale Waffle House is friendly and helpful. Since my husband and I eat there at least once a week, they all know us. My husband absolutely LOVES their scrambled cheese eggs. He's pretty picky about them, so that's saying a lot. This is the only place I can get my waffle cooked right. I like it DARK. If it has a crispy outside done just right where the butter melts into it and makes that crispy yet buttery bite, and then you top it with syrup and it gets just the right bit of squishy...mmm...mmm...mmm. I actually ask them to cook it 5 minutes. Julie knows exactly how I like it and she's always quick to make it for me. The coffee here is good, too. According to my friends, I'm kind of a coffee wimp because I don't like it so strong that it makes you gag like they do. Here at the Summerdale Waffle House it is perfect. Not too strong. Not too weak. The bacon is always done just right and my husband loves their grits. We look forward to our weekly breakfast date at the Summerdale...

All this past winter Waffle House was slammed busy but this July night parking lot was empty so I stopped in cuz I got off work late no time to cook and I order a bacon cheeseburger deluxe I got served a Soup Sandwich and I felt terrible because the waitress was great but now I'm glad I didn't tip her because the food was Rancid I mean I can't shame them too bad I mean the hash browns are okay but who can mess up hash browns I mean they're hash browns makes me really shocked at the things I'll eat when I'm really hungry long story short I hate to say it but Summerdale Waffle House I'm not...

Ruth has to be the most rude waitress we have ever had. The service is sucks. Our whole order was messed up. Everyone seemed to be in a bad mood. We were here on 12/14/2024 at 10:55 am. I will never be back this Waffle House again and I will be calling corporate. I’m a manager and this is not ok. I also told them about how rude they have been and they have been talking to one another about is while we was here. So unprofessional.
