I placed a to go order and drove 15 minutes to pick it up...shame on me for not checking it before I left. One of my kids meals was missing the rice and even though I paid for extra salsa, I still only had one small bag of chips. I called to see if I'd been charged just for a taco or for the whole kids meal and ask about the chips and salsa. I also explained that handwritten on my receipt was "no arroz". (I'm no rocket scientist but I do know that means no rice). She told me there "was no way" that was on my ticket so I guess it's just my lying eyes. I'm not sure who I spoke to first but when I was put on hold I could hear her relaying the problem and the call was taken over by Jenna. She confirmed that I was charged for the kids meal and could come pick up the rice and as for the chips, I could buy another bag when I came to get the rice. Seriously!? Drive back 15 minutes for rice and still have to buy a bag of chips!? When I posed that question her response was "when you go to the grocery store to buy salsa do you expect it to come with chips?" Well, no, but I also know that if I was eating in the restaurant they wouldn't just bring salsa and no chips. Or would they?? At this rate, it's a fair question. I told her that was a pretty rude thing to say and she replied that it was the managers instructed answer when people called to complain about chips not being included with extra salsa. Well, if that's not good customer service I dont know what is!! Either way, when you pay for extra salsa and a cheese dip, they should both come with a bag of chips. I was pretty irritated by this point and said I was going to dispute the charge with my bank (which I did not do) and she said that was fine as long as I returned the food. Um, ok. I sure hope they're really not allowing folks to return food. I asked for the manager and was told he wasn't there and she had no idea when he'd be there again. I want his job!!
Long story short, I paid for food I didn't receive and they could have cared less. Jenna was condescending about the problem and certainly not one I would want representing my business. I've had better customer service at Wal Mart. Go to Rio Bravo or Casa Vallarta instead, you wont be...
Read moreFood was fantastic and server was very courteous. Drinks and manager on the other hand... abysmal. We each ordered one of the classic margaritas which were terrible. They tasted solely of sour mix with a bit of triple sec. The waitress notified the manager whose response was a joke. He made no appearance to our table but instead sent the waitress back to say, "They always taste like that, if you want anything better you have to order top shelf.". In a last ditch to try to get a decent Friday evening drink, we each ordered one. Marginally better than the first, but could at least taste the slightest hint of tequila. I highly doubt it was top shelf, but even if it was, the serving size was much less than a typical serving and taste was completely dominated by sweet and sour mix (dry mouth feel and all). At least two other tables' margaritas were left untouched as well.
Tldr: Food is great, waitress was kind and obviously disturbed by the managers reaction (seriously, please tip your servers according to their service, not the quality of food or drinks! We tipped $15 on a $22.35 bill.), drinks are ABYSMAL, manager completely disregards complaints in...
Read moreOnline menu prices do not match what they actually charge and the customer service is terrible. I placed my order over the phone. I was never told a price and only told how long it would be before it was ready. I ordered 3 hard shell beef tacos, small cheese dip and a sweet tea to go and they tried to charge me over $17. According to the online menu, 3 tacos are $4.00 a la cart price and a small cheese dip is $2.75. There was no price for drinks but this still should have been no more than $10 with tax according to their online pricing. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they do not honor the online menu prices and my order would still be over $17. I asked for an itemized receipt to see how much they were charging per item and never received it. Only after telling them that they could cancel my order did they offer to reduce the price to something faintly reasonable. Rather than let the food go to waste, I paid the $13.33 they were now going to charge me and left without ever receiving the itemized receipt I had asked for. Their prices are ridiculous, food is mediocre at best and customer service is terrible. I will not...
