Buckhorn Icecream — Restaurant in Summerhill Township

Nice to return to an old favorite! I used to live in the area but relocated to California- I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved Buckhorn Ice Cream! Not only do they offer a wide variety of delicious flavors, but the staff are incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely care about your experience. You can tell they take pride in their service and products.

I especially appreciated the health-conscious options — it’s not easy to find a spot that balances indulgence with better-for-you ingredients. I ended up coming back twice just for the Lemon Chillo — it was that good! Light, refreshing, and perfectly tart.

This place is amazing, with excellent portions for the price and really delicious offerings. The workers are also very kind and work incredibly hard, but waits are often long for both the window and drive-thru because the owners do not adequately staff the shop.

This places undue stress on workers and often creates an undesirable experience for customers, which in return can lead to even more stress on workers if they have to deal with customer complaints. I would really like to see adequate staffing here, even if it translates to a small increase in menu prices.

This is an amazing ice cream shop. We go here every year during our family reunion. They have tons of flavors and many that are unique and usual. The price and serving size is what wows me. I have never had so much ice cream for so little. My son and had two small cones and were full by the time we were done for $6.00. Where we are from we would have spent that for one person and not gotten any where near that amount of ice cream. The staff is friendly and move quick.
