This place looks like a double wide trailer that was converted into a grub & pub, and I must say that it was a great decision to do so! The amount of space for each table is exactly right. It is just far enough that you are not looking at your neighbor's table to see their food. You are not on top of each other. Even though there is a grand open space in this place each table is far away from each other to still have a private feel to it. There are TV's playing sports (duh right) and overall, the atmosphere is really good. Now onto what you really want to know, the food. The food was delicious and well cooked with pretty good portions as well. What more could you want. I had the grilled steak tips with fries and a salad! Now the service was on top of it all! They were so fast when they brought out the salads first, none of us had finished our salads yet before our main course arrived! The cost wasn't bad at all with it being a mere $38.00 for two people to eat! You won't go broke or hungry at this place, but you will...
Read moreWas in town for an event and gave this place a go based on reviews and Americana offerings. We were sat quickly and received warm service. The drinks were prompt and refilled as needed. Starters were decently quick despite the restaurant being quite full. We had the pickle fries and onion rings and loved them both. Our meals were well timed and well prepared and hearty portions. The beer battered fish and fries was delicious and the Angry Neighbor burger was an absolute hit! I was told by my partner that the wings were a solid 4 out of 5, but were decent- just not to the level of delicious they managed to achieve with their burgers. If you get the opportunity, give this local joint a chance. We think they're worth it. The only potential point of improvement we noted was that the bathrooms really do need deadbolt that indicate occupancy clearly as checking for light under the door just feels not great especially while standing nearly in front of those waiting to be seated...
Read moreGoogled Neighbors, because my hotel couldn't recommend a local bar. When I pulled up, I was a little worried. Looked very small. Little did I know that was the charm. Walked in and was welcomed to sit at the bar immediately. Friendly staff, as well as patrons. Family owned and operated. The reason I know this is because... I met them. Unbelievably welcoming and warm to a stranger passing through. Food was served promptly and fresh. Delicious! So many options to choose from. Beer selection from local to regional. I recommend the Bruce Banner compliments of Lost Cabin Beer Co. If you want to up the game, go for one of their original drinks or shots. Can't say enough. Five stars! Two thumbs up! Wish I was in South...
