Corner Cones — Restaurant in Summit Township

Corner Cones has a special place in all of my families' hearts. What a wonderfully run small establishment and a joyful place to visit. We've just loved going there. Their food is perfect for an easy dinner out after a day hiking or biking... and we've been impressed at the quality. I mean, homemade burgers at a roadside ice cream stand?! And, their fries are perfectly thin cut and crispy. We've just enjoyed this place like crazy.

I guess that my biggest letdowns are that they are seasonal (closed over the winter, but what would you expect?) and that I only just discovered the banana cream pie flavor blast on the last day that they were open this year... so I'm going to be dreaming about it all winter.

As soon as they open in the spring, I highly recommend stopping in. I am sure...

Corner Cones was a recent stop on my travels. It is a dainty little ice cream (and more) shop in Herman, PA. It was around 8:00 on a Thursday night. The place was packed! The number of people that were in line clearly outweighed the overall population of the little borough.

While in line, we saw orders of fries and burgers coming out. I didn't know they served food, too. The food looked good, but we stood fast on our craving for ice cream. The prices seemed fair, until we saw the portions! They were very generous! I will definitely be there for more!

Corner Cones is an absolute treat! Their soft serve is unbelievably good — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of ice cream that keeps you coming back!

Be prepared for a bit of a wait in the evenings — it’s that popular — but trust me, it’s totally worth it. The lines move quickly, and the payoff is a perfectly swirled cone of happiness.
