New restaurant alert!!! I had to try this place out. As someone who loves pasta and loves reviewing new restaurants this spot did NOT disappoint. I'll start with the food and then go over service and atmosphere. I had the love bread for an appetizer and overall it was pretty good. The bread could have been a little more seasoned with garlic butter but what really shined for the appetizer was the house made tomato sauce. It was fresh, not too salty, light and tasty. Now the entrees were both delicious! I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and I really enjoyed it, the noodles were cooked perfectly al dente, but still had a nice soft chewy texture to them. The sauce was smooth and garlicky and the chorizo added a salty and spiced nuance to the dish. The peas were a nice speed bump in the dish to keep it feeling fresh. My girlfriend ordered the spaghetti, a classic. Again the sauce is what really shined through here. The meatballs that she added were an additional $3 each, but really complimented the dish. The meatballs were salty, which added a nice contrast to the fresh tomato sauce. The noodles with this dish were almost too al dente, they needed to be cooked just a touch longer. The service was great, upon entering the restaurant we were immediately greeted by a waitress. Our waitress took our order and the food came out right away. The manager or owner was present in the restaurant, but didn't come around to ask how anyone's food was, he seemed to be talking to one specific customer at the bar instead. The atmosphere was clean and very hip. One of the walls had beautiful china plates, but the other walls felt very empty and could use either some pictures or maybe more fine china. The atmosphere felt welcoming and clean. I loved that we could see over the bar and watch the cooks make our food fresh. Every cook had the proper PPE, clean gloves, and hats. I enjoyed this experience and will definitely be back to try other dishes. We are very excited to see if they have a rotating menu for new pastas, but keep their classic dishes.

Love, Pasta is a fantastic addition to Jackson which desperately needed a reliable Italian restaurant. The owner, Ridge (forgive me if I got that wrong), genuinely cares about the food and atmosphere and you can feel that in each dish. It gave me the feel for the Italian restaurants I’m familiar with in Boston, you’re treated like family when you’re there. This is an owner who puts his heart and soul into fresh made dishes and ingredients. It’s not a cash grab, he does it for the love of cooking and that’s in the name of the restaurant. For those complaining about price, I’m not sure what the issue is, I found these beyond reasonable for the quality of food that you’re eating. A chain restaurant would undoubtedly cost more than this. I’m more than happy to support a family business than some crap like Olive Garden. I will certainly be back. Highly recommend the Rigatoni Bolognese, it was phenomenal and was made fresh that morning. The Chorizo Fettucine was also extremely tasty and rich. I loved both dishes. The pesto in the caprese was exceptional. They have a seasonal sangria which I thought was an excellent complement to the meal. I enjoyed the love, bread but it was a bit cold. My recommendation would be to toast the bread a bit before the cheese goes on as the bread wasn’t very crisp. It would also be nice to have some bread and oil when seated, but I can understand if costs are too high. Maybe they have it but I did not want to ask and wasn’t offered. Lastly, we got the house made brownie, which the owner’s wife bakes, and top-notch vanilla ice cream which was a great ending to a lovely meal. I just wish the brownie was warmed up before it was served. Overall, this place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it. Keep up the fresh dishes, I’ll see you again soon!

I'm so disappointed. My fiancee and I went here for the first time today. I absolutely LOVE, PASTA! But this experience was nothing of the feeling. Initially, we wanted to dine in, but after waiting 35-40minutes after ordering (fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and asparagus-no peas, no chorizo. And Rigatoni bolo.) we decided to get our order to-go. The waitress kept apologizing, but apologies do not add to my plate, or service. Once we received our bag, we were asked if we needed utensils (we sat there for almost an hour with no food, of course we needed utensils). I declined because I didn't want to wait longer. Finally made it home, hoping the food was worth the experience....I appreciate the hand-pulled noodles, and that my food was still hot once i made it home...that's about it. Theres peas in my alfredo...with asparagus...and a sliced, breaded, pre-frozen chicken breast fillet. $70 wasted (I did have a cocktail and my partner had a beer). To add, the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. I only provided a 2-star rating for the atmosphere because I watched the waitress sit a party of two down at a dirty table (it was next to me). The bartender came, apologized, and cleaned it while the party reviewed the menu. It was evident that they knew each other-and yet, was still seated at a dirty table.
