This restaurant came highly recommended to us by quite a few locals as we were visiting the area on Saturday. We ordered take-out for lunch at about noon on Saturday. We were told it would take 30-minutes. We ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza (only 2 sizes, 8 slices or 16 slices), Italian sub with mayo, & blt sandwich with mayo on white toast. Both the sandwich/sub came with french fries. We arrived to the restaurant at 1235 p.m. Perfect timing!! After waiting for 15 minutes or so without anyone speaking to my husband, someone finally came out of the kitchen and told him it would be another 20 minutes or so before our food would be ready. My husband noted there were quite a few other people who seemed like they also worked there, but only one lady was doing everything. The dining room only had 2 couples eating there. After 20 more minutes, my husband was told it would be a few more minutes. We finally got our food with no apology for the time delay or compensation for the extremely slow service. My husband paid over $35 for sub, sandwich, and a pizza. We drove to our hotel about 15 minutes away. We literally started to eat as soon as we got to our room. We opened the containers to find only the chicken bacon ranch pizza looked even edible. All of french fries were cold & soggy. My husband's Italian sub was ok, no mayo like he asked for. The blt sandwich was in a container with the french fries, which made the toast soggy. The tomato was mashed into the bread. The bacon was too chewy. The blt had no mayo either which he did ask for when he placed the phone order. Between the too hot bacon that was probably placed directly on the lettuce, tomato, & bread ruined it. And the hot fries placed into the same container as the blt, ruined my lunch. My husband said the sub was dry, but otherwise ok. We feel the prices are a bit high for what we ordered. I do not feel our 15-minute drive to the hotel had anything to do with food issues. The sandwich had to have been sitting in the containers with the hot fries the lids closed for quite some time to cool down to be cold too the touch & ruin the fries. If the food was really hot when it first came out, the food would have still been pretty warm for us. We think that some of the food like the french fries & the blt sandwich sat waiting for the pizza. My son said the pizza was actually really good, although it was really greasy. His fingers & hands were covered with grease after each piece he ate. I'm pretty sure the food would have been really great if we had the time & ability to eat at the restaurant. When we are back in the area, we are willing to try again, but this time, we will eat there. Although we've heard that the take-out is usually really good.

Updated review with old review at the bottom: Sadly this was one of my favorite spots for breakfast but they keep changing it and you never know when they will have breakfast or wont. Here is the updated menu and our food for today's review. The food has gone down hill. The menu leaves alot to be desired. I ended up ordering 2 eggs and home fries and sausage gravy (you have to pay individually for each item since they dont have breaksfast meals now. The sausage gravy was for my friends unlimited food because he was only ALLOWED to choose 3 items. First 3 items he got eggs, sausage, home fries. The 2 plate he got bacon, hashbrowns, sausage gravy. If you choose eggs for those 3 items it only comes scrambled just fyi. I did try his food since he was complaining it tasted off and it did. His home fries were way salter than mine. Almost unbearable to eat. And his bacon was clearly spoiled just by looking at it but i broke off the tiniest piece and gagged on the flavor. It didnt even taste like bacon which was comical to us both. My guess is so he wouldn't order more food for the $18 but I could be wrong. Mine was ok but I didn't express my lack of interest in their menu and I had wanted to just pay for our drinks and go else where to eat . We will just stick to ordering pizza for now on as we know that's still good. Total bill was around $32 , drinks we each got a pepsi Old review #2 Came back for breakfast again. They revamped their menu and Sadly took away the eggs Benedict. It's still very yummy and you get alot of food for your buck. Enough for at least 2 meals for a hungry man let alone for a me. Lol Please bring back the eggs Benedict, you can't find it too many places. 😁 Old review below. #1 This is home cooked diner food and oh so yummy! It's a little confusing on the drive in figuring out which building to go to but once you do there is plenty of seating and space. We both really liked our food and the waitresses were super nice and attentive. The plates were packed full. The eggs Benedict was a little salty but still delicious and even though I was full I didn't want to stop. The person with me really enjoyed the country fried steak. Will definitely be back! * there's plenty of parking and space inside for a wheel chair. The parking lot might be a little hard to push a heavier chair but definitely manageable. *

I ordered a pizza for my son and I. Was a large supreme pizza loaded to the gills with toppings. Cooked to excellence, not to mention the fantastic whole chicken wings. The T's Orange Kist sauce was simply unique and satisfying. The order of pepperjack cheese balls was about 20 or so which is the largest order I have ever gotten ordering them anywhere. I had delivery so atmosphere wasn't really a thing for me. However the delivery time was rather short so I was happy. All in all a great local addition.

This is the second time I ordered food during a karaoke night. The first evening I sat with multiple family memebers and the majority of them ordered wings. It was the first $1 wing karaoke night so it was very busy and I'm sure overwhelming for the staff. There were many food mistakes made. My aunt didn't get her wings after waiting 1.5 hours. Each person's order came out piece by piece at different times throughout a 2 hour plus time frame. It was insanely busy. I gave the place the benefit of a doubt because my aunts go there routinely for karaoke and they were regulars prior to the place changing hands to the current owners.

My husband and I along with our daughter met family there again this evening during karaoke for the second $1 wing night. I finally talked my husband into coming along because the last 2 times my daughter's and I went he refused to go. Let's just say, he won't be returning šŸ˜”. His gyro meat was overcooked and dry, he didn't get his fries as his side with his gyro. We had to ask for them. He got them about a half hour after he finished his gyro. I ordered an appetizer but it didn't come before our meals. It wouldn't have come at all had I not asked about it. My chicken was rubbery and cold on my chicken sandwich. I asked for my fries to be seasoning free. They came with seasoning. My husband ordered 6 spicy garlic wings and 6 habanero wings but never received them. I assumed they were just behind on wings because it was again, $1 wing night. But apparently, the order was overlooked just like the no seasoning on the fries and fried mushrooms were because the waitress brought our bill and they were included on my bill. So I'm not sure how they were overlooked by the cook. I worked at my family's BBQ business so I understand that it can be overwhelming at times but messing up 4 things in ONE order, come on. Its unfortunate because my family members are regulars and frequent the Bonniebrook as I said above and they enjoy my daughter's and my company on karaoke nights. Unfortunately, my husband and I won't frequent an establishment that knows their not keeping up in the kitchen and continues to make the same mistakes over and over which in turn makes their business look incompetent and insufficient. It's a shame because judging by the food pics they continue to post on their FB page, it looks amazing. I feel like they just need to take a step back and pay closer attention to food orders and so many mistakes won't continue to be made.

The waitress was as accommodating as she could be. She offered a free desert which I politely declined and she explained that they were busy with take out orders which I'm assuming was why they were making so many errors šŸ¤”. She removed the wing orders from our bill and gave us 20% off our final bill as a kind gesture for the inconvenience which was appreciated. I believe she took our order correctly it was just not followed correctly by the kitchen staff unfortunately. The waitress was attentive and kept our glasses full. I have no complaints about her. Even during the 1st wing night (last month), she was the only server and she ran her tail off trying to keep up with the large customer load that showed up.

One of the owners came up to my husband and offered to make his wings even after we paid the bill but he was ready to go and by that time he had enough of the incompetence from the kitchen. He loves food and food is one thing he doesn't mimd spending a pretty penny on if it's good food lol! But needless to say, I won't be able to get him to go back there ever again with me after his experience tonight. He politely declined because he was just ready to leave at that point. From the time we ordered and the time we paid our bill it was just about 2 hours.

The atmosphere is nice and the people who I've seen there have all been friendly and fun to be around! If the kitchen can get it together it could be a fun place to hang out and enjoy friends and family and it has the potential to enjoy great food...
