Golden Lake Pub — Restaurant in Summit

We arrived and excited to eat at this little pub. It has a great view and was referred by someone. We arrived and sat down. There was only one waitress which we understood would need time to get to us for drinks. Another couple comes in and because she knows them took their order first. She finally came to us, explained “it’s just her bare with her”. Us-Ok got it. She took our drink order. A party of four came in. The waitress refills another glass for a customer. She delivers drinks to the couple that came in after us. Still no drinks. She starts preparing 3 more drinks. When I saw the liquor she picked up not being what I ordered. We decided to leave. Based upon arrival we should have been next in line. It’s clear she was getting the order for the party of four. It’s disheartening to see this in Oconomowoc. It’s a first bad service review I’ve left since moving from Atlanta. But note to the owners- the waitress needs to prioritize who comes in when. It’s not serving your friends first. Probably one of the worst burgers I have ever have. My folks and I came in for a few drinks and some food. The server came over didnt offer drinks or menus expecting us to know exactly what we wanted. We asked for menus. Once we got them, they were extemely limited. The guy outside (when we arrived), was our cook, was very limited, smoking whatever it was he was smoking.. His shorts were so dirty it looked like he had not changed them in a week. After we decided to order cheesburgers, mine with american, fried onions, mushrooms, lettuce and tomatos. They came out in reasonable time. I took one bite and it was the saltiest burger ive ever had.I asked my mom to try it and she said it was terrible. Maybe some people in that area have no exprectations but come on. You go 10 mins away to Delafield or Pewaukee you will find something better. Its convienient to boaters but my god you would get more dehydrated there then in the sun(salt). Terrible service from a bartender named “Grace”. Watched us walk in, on a Friday night at 8:45, only five other people sitting at the bar, turned around and continued talking to the other employees for a solid five minutes before looking back at us sitting there with money out waiting for a drink. Acted like we were putting her out by ordering a vodka tonic. Said not one word to us, not even a smile. Totally ignored me when I said “excuse me” three times after waiting another five minutes after my first drink was gone. Finally my wife had to go around to the other side of the bar and let her know I was trying to get her attention while she gabbed with the other employees. Finally ordered the second drink and it was vodka and sprite, not tonic. She acted offended when I told her. Still never said one word. Is she mute? Lousy place, never again!
