Carasmatic Creations — Restaurant in Sumter

We ordered a cake and spent nearly $100 to get everything we wanted. The owner, Cara Finley, said she would make sure it was done on time and at the correct cost. We went to pick it up at her house (yes her house) and it was not ready. We called her three more times with no success and finally 8 hours later, she called us and said it was ready. The cake did not look professional but because we were in a time pinch, we took it. At the party everyone was commenting on our "home made" cake which we tried to tell them it was a "professional" cake but no one believed us. Then in desperation, we served the cake and most of the guests refused to eat it. The ones that did ended up getting sick including a 79 year old lady who had to go to the hospital. I warn everyone to go get their baked goods at a "real" bakery, not some house that masquerades as a bakery. We are sticking with Baker Sweets from now on. The owner should be...

I provided this company with an image of a wedding dress made from rows of cupcakes, with a beaded belt around the waist and a silver brooch to boot. Of course, the silver cupcake was for the bride at a bridal shower I hosted; I received the best, buttercream cupcakes this side of heaven. The bridal shower attendees were impressed with the white cupcakes made from pink velvet cake batter. I will definitely use Carasmatic Creations again! I live on the west coast but most of my family is on the other shining sea. Specifically, my brother in Sumter SC so I was looking for a local bakery to get him a birthday cake. Carasmatic Creations is just the place. A nice selection of cakes. I went with carrot cake no nuts (my brother's favorite) and since it's local there was also the added plus of free delivery. A local product made to order from scratch vs. something rush shipped from the west coast?
