I ordered a Tuscani Meaty Marinara Pasta from one of your establishments located on 1 Alice Dr. Sumter South Carolina at 5:58pm on the 15 of July 2022. I received a notice at 6:15pm informing me of the status of my order in which I was told it was ready to be picked up. I arrived shortly after receiving said notification, purchased my order with legal tender via my debit card, retrieved what I believed was Tuscani Meaty Marinara Pasta and proceeded to return to my home, fifteen minutes away from your establishment. Once I arrived home I was ready enjoy my meal when I discovered I was given the wrong product. I immediately returned to my vehicle and proceeded to said establishment to return the product in hopes it would be corrected or I would be compensated somehow for this error. Once I arrived and approached the counter I informed the cashier of the discrepancy with my order. The cashier then proceeded to informed the manager of my grievance. The manager at the time then told the cashier something I could not hear cause they were both to far for me to hear them. She, the cashier return to counter and told me their establishment did not serve the product which I asked for. I ask the her if was a way for me to be compensated for their error of refunded my payment. She then informed me their establishment does not refund payments. So I asked her if I was "Just out of luck" and she just shrugged her shoulders and raised her hands as if to say "Yeah, oh well." As I was leaving your establishment, with the meal I didn't order, mortified by my experience and greatly disappointed by the lack of care and customer consideration pertaining to my grievance, the cashier than sarcastically and nonchalantly told me to "have a nice day" after what just happened. I was appalled to say the least. I worked one of your establishments before for a short time and prior to that I served 18yrs as a US Marine. I have never in my life seen such cowardice behavior, lack of professionalism, and lack of leadership from a manager. He did not even have the "testicular fortitude" to address my grievance with me personally and discuss a feasible resolution. No he just cowardly stayed in the back of your establishment and allowed his cashier to receive the brunt of my displeasure with his "resolution" to the discrepancy with my order. I was horrified with the service I received and disheartened by the lack of leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism that was displayed throughout the entire ordeal. Read morePlaced a large order for our traveling football team the Wednesday before the Friday night game. Spoke with the manager, paid the bill, gave him my phone number to call me if any problems & when the pizza arrives at the school parking lot. Told him we needed the pizzas there at 9:15 PM. Assured me they would be there & driver would call me. This was a very important game (2nd playoffs) as well as potentially our coach's 100th win. I left the game in the 3rd quarter to wait for delivery in the parking lot at 9:05. By 9:22, I called the same # I spoke to the manager when the order was placed. Was in a continuous loop on hold for over 20 mins. Meanwhile, the game ended & still no pizzas! We won the game & while they celebrated, I'm still trying to find out when our 26 pizzas will arrive. My niece was able to call another number at this location & she was told the pizzas hasn't left the store yet, but leaving now (9:42). Still, no one has called my number to let me know anything! I finally, at 9:49, I get a phone call from the driver to let me know he was leaving the store at that point & would be there ASAP. He was very nice & apologize for the delay, said they had a very rough night. He delivered them right before 10:00. Despite the problems, I gave him a nice tip amount because he was very nice & knew exactly where to bring to our exact location on the campus. When we took the pizzas out of the warming bags, they were cold & not cut through. Had to tear the pieces apart. Pizza Hut, you let us down. Read moreGot occused and treated like I was trying to steal pizza tonight because my credit card didn't go through. I've had this problem before where I've put my card in online and it doesn't go through in store... Well I call back and get told that it had been authorized. So I assume everything is all good and I inform the delivery driver that the store said it went through, left the tip amount and signed the receipt. A little while later I'm in the shower and our door bell rings. We are informed by the delivery driver that she is gonna call the cops on us for not paying for the pizza and we needed to give her cash right then.. She was acting like she wasn't going to leave our porch. She informed my boyfriend that she couldn't leave until she witnessed us call the store... Okay... I just find this a bit odd and creepy. They didn't even give me time to give them a call back to get it corrected before she showed back up on my doorstep... I just think this could have been handled more professionally and I've ordered pizza from this store numerous times and I've never "stole" pizza.
