TACOS Y HUARACHES EL GORDO — Restaurant in Sun Lakes

This is part of my fuel stop. Started going here a month ago and was pleasantly surprised by all the options on the menu. It all smells good and I’ve tried a few of the items on the menu so far and it always hits the spot in my tummy 😊. The Tortas are awesome and the street tacos are great. What I like is the variety that’s on the menu not like other truck stop restaurants that only serve the same over priced crap all over country, this place give you plenty of options to try and will accommodate your request if they can. I stopped by El Gordo Mexican Grill and tried the huarache—wow, it was delicious! The base was perfectly crispy on the edges but still soft in the middle, piled high with flavorful meat, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of spice.
