The service is the best around with the sweetest women in St Tammany and Washington Parishes! The steaks are unmatched and the fixings just right! However, closing a dinner time restaurant at 8pm sharp and shutting down the grill that cooks those one of a kind steaks even before 8:00 is criminal! I would much rather you open for lunch from 11-2pm then close until 5pm. Then reopen from 5 to 10:30pm. Not that my opinion much matters but I would guarantee you you would save money on the hours and make money staying open later. I have noticed that on the weekends when closing at 9 PM there are a crowd of people there still in a fathers knew you were open another few hours I believe it would stay packed until 1130 which would increase your Tips exponentially. Visited here after driving by. My husband ordered the the fried green tomato blt. It was tasty and the tomatoes were cooked properly. They were quite generous serving of bacon as well the Texas toast really didn't hold that great, but wasn't horrible. It would have been improved with less thin cut bacon and swapped for a thick cut .

We also shared the brisket sandwich on a bun, dressed. Again, a very generous portion. I prefer sliced brisket over chopped but it was juicy, and well seasoned . The fresh cut fries were good.

Went in and spent 40 dollars on a half poboy and a full poboy fully dressed (only came with a drop of mayo, 3 pickles, and lettuce) a side salad and fries and a baked potato. The shrimp wasnt good AT ALL. The breading wouldn't stay on the shrimp and the poboy was soo dry. My in laws were also there and spent about the same as us and got 3 chicken strips THAT WERE MOSTLY BREADING, potato salad that was the worse and lasagna that was just as bad as the potato salad. 99 PERCENT OF OUR FOOD WAS LEFT ON THE TABLE!!
