It took me awhile to write this review bc I wanted to appropriately articulate what happened the day my party of 10 came to this establishment. It is not how the owners depicted it. After asking to be seated, we were told it would be an hour. Bc of young children in our party, we agreed to be seated separately. Although we did ask, on multiple occasions, to slide our tables together, after not being accommodated due to “Covid” restrictions, we decided we could handle it. However, we had been seated before at least 6 other tables who were happily enjoying their waitresses attention, drinks and menu orders. 20 minutes passed and we hadn’t seen a waitress, nor had our drinks yet. We felt we were being targeted and left. Upon leaving, one of our parties asked what the policy was about not putting tables together. She was calm, not demanding as the owner stated. I was there. The whole time she was getting a different answer from the owner about the flow of the waitresses and the capacity of the kitchen, (different from the “Covid” response we received from the waitress) one of the waitresses was a few feet from my parties faces waving her hand, gesturing and saying “bye, bye” to us. Not once, but 3 times. We did not deserve that treatment and will not be back. The mere fact that the owners are defending themselves, should say something. We went to a very nice restaurant 4 miles away who accommodated us right away and knew the reputation of this restaurant as being rude. I do not recommend this restaurant. We have filed a BBB complaint with the Grand Rapids BBB of West Michigan on...

My husband and I decided to support this place by getting take out during the pandemic......we want them to still be around after everything gets back to normal. My husband got the Ranch burger, I got the Italian Melt and we got an order of their cinnamon roll pancakes for dessert. My husband said that his burger was great, as was my sandwich. The Italian Melt normally comes with ham, sausage, and pepperoni on it, but they were out of pepperoni. I asked that the sandwich be made with corned beef in place of the pepperoni and I also asked that the sausage be left off. They gladly obliged and the sandwich was great, even if it was a bit messy from all the toppings. The cinnamon roll pancakes were amazing, as we were told they would be. They were HUGE (the order comes with two) and we still have not managed to eat the entire order...........I guess we'll be having the other pancake for dessert tomorrow too. What really impressed me though was the sign that met me as I went in the door to pick up my order. It let you know in no un-certain terms that a mask was required. There was also another sign, that I didn't get a picture of, that stated they would bring your order out to you if you were unable to wear a mask inside. X's were marked on the floor in six foot increments so that you knew where to stand in the event that a number of customers arrived at the same time to pick up their order. This business clearly cares about their customers and are doing all that they can do to keep them safe. We will...

I can’t say enough about this restaurant. If I could give 100 stars, I would. It’s just great. Their home fry potatoes are absolutely cravable. You can tell they are par-boiled, chopped, and fried with onions that morning. The difference between these potatoes and the potatoes at other breakfast places is unreal. The difference is that these are fresh and not frozen. It’s obvious.

My absolute favorite breakfast restaurant. My favorite dish is the corned beef hash with those home fries and perfect over-medium eggs. I ask for their homemade strawberry jelly to put on my last piece of rye toast for a sweet bite at the end. They should sell that stuff. It’s amazing.

And their cinnamon roll pancake is the absolute perfect sweet treat after a hardy breakfast. Also, they have amazing French toast. Ask for the strawberry sauce. It’s amazing. Also, the biscuits and gravy is the best around. And the biscuits are fresh baked and still have a little bit of a crispy edge but soft and buttery inside. 100/10 recommend people to make the trip here. Be prepared, you’ll find yourself making that trip regularly though 😂♥️

Also, their Ruben sandwich is the best I’ve ever had, if you’re more of a lunch person. Sometimes I’ll order breakfast and lunch together. Obsessed with this place is an...

Down to earth country diner. Not fancy decor, but tasty food with generous portions. Great variety of interesting options as well. Cinnamon roll pancakes were yummy. Hand breaded Country fried steak with pan fried potatoes and sunny side up egg was properly cooked, nicely seasoned, just like Mom made it when we were young. The moment my husband bit into his food he was taken back to his childhood. Staff was friendly and efficient. Great find on our vacation. Wish we had one in our town.
