Hey there Internet Path-Finders and Fellow Travelers...
If you're looking for a Guy with Personality then you're in Luck, because I have Multiple! Just Kidding...
At Dawn this Morning as the Sky Alternated from a Stark Prussian Blue to Dazzling Cotton Candy Hues, I thought for Sure I was Experiencing an Impassioned Dream. But, then, there it was... after Several Hours of Mindless Scrolling, apparently the Mohawk Restaurant in Crescent Oregon has a Facebook Post about Breakfast Burritos.
Buenas Noticias! I'm as Happy as a Butchers Dog! It just so happens that I've been a Burrito-oholic eversince I was a Handsome Niño pequeño.
So, I Unhesitantly jumped into my Hemi Powered Chrysler 300 and in a 'Relaxed Urgency', Fueled by Beastly Hunger, Freedom, and a tad bit of Rebellion, while Blasting ‘Born to be Wild’ by Steppenwolf on the Premium Bose Stereo System, I Boogied on Down to Crescent!
I was Certainly Feeling the Gnawing, Rumbling Hunger Pains of my Inner Caveman, Evidently Preparing for Hard Times... you know? That Drive to Survive, like a Puffy-Cheeked Squirrel Storing Up for the Winter.
Besides, Breakfast Burritos are Tortill-y Yummy!
Hey, if we Are what we Eat, then I'm Fast, Cheap and Easy! Just Kidding! I'm not Cheap!
A Breakfast Burrito Wrapped like a Roll, is always a Tasty Treat for the Tummy and for the Soul!
Well, how was it Daniel? Fellow Scrollers, this Tightly Wrapped, Warm, Flavorsome, Soft, Thin, Flatbread was Fittingly Filled with Heavenly Ham, Ambrosial Bacon, Savory Sausage and Ooey Gooey Cheese. Accompanied with a Dandy Serving of Salsa and a Delightful Dolop of Sour Cream.
I also Heartily Ordered a Side of Hash Browns, Finely Julienned Potatoes, Cooked & Browned to Perfection! And, under the Warm-Hearted Persuasion from the Very Helpful Server, I Flagrantly Smothered them in Fry Sauce.. that's Right! Fry Sauce! No Stinking Ketchup!
Who says you can't buy Happiness!? I Swear I was Moaning like a Grazing and Gratified Wilderbeast on the Serengeti.
That Husky Breakfast Burrito was Gone Faster than Biden’s Coloring Book when the Press Shows Up!
With my Warm Hug from the Inside, I'm not Ashamed to say, 'I Waddled away Completely Contented'!
It's time to Wrap-Up this Breakfast Burrito Review from the Highly Recommended Mohawk Restaurant in Crescent Oregon.

Read moreMy lady and I stopped in here spontaneously on a little weekend get away. We walked in as strangers and walked out as friends. This place was nothing short of the most phenomenal experience we have ever had. We came in late and hungry after stressfully searching for a way away from a wildfire that broke out and surrounded us nearby. We sat down ordered our drinks and food and next thing we know all the regulars in the bar were chatting it up with us like we were old friends. We relished in the hospitality. A local customer and fellow veteran named David was truly the nicest guy I've ever met. His kindness and hospitality went far beyond just being a friendly guy. He was quite helpful and encouraging when he asked me to join in the karaoke going on in the bar. If you ever get a chance to stop here make sure you say hi to David. He is truly the bar everyone's friend. Before we left we got to meet the owner Wally. He was a gentleman and another really really nice guy. He talked for a good 15 to 20 minutes with us and made us feel so welcomed and as friends. As we left he shouted out "bye Angel & Bryan!" That was true class. Remembering us by name as though we were part of the family. Maybe now we are. We will definitely make our way back to this wonderful place and we will definitely look for the wonderful people we met like David, April, Kim, and Wally. Thank you all for being one of the best highlights from our spontaneous date getaway.
We WILL see you...
Read moreThe Mohawk is one of the few restaurants in a hundred or so miles. It’s a ramshackle place in the tiny town of Crescent, Oregon, population 200. The place appears to be cobbled together from two or three different buildings, and it’s filled with numerous stuffed animal trophies, apparently collected over many years. The menu is basic bar food. Nothing fancy or special. It’s said that “appetite is the best sauce,” and if you’re a hundred miles from the nearest restaurant, it’s a safe bet that any food that’s reasonably well prepared will taste great. I phoned ahead with my group of 14 fellow travelers, to make sure that they could accommodate us. They said that they could, and we showed up for lunch a few hours later. The young waitress who helped my rambunctious group was very kind and demonstrated assured maturity well beyond her years. She processed our orders as efficiently as could be expected, and my group (who had eaten at one of the finest restaurants in the state just the previous night) pronounced themselves happily satisfied. Please note that I am not saying that this menu even begins to compare with fine dining. This is bar food in a tiny, remote town, many miles from civilization. But the people were kind and helpful, the food was basic, but well prepared, and the service was excellent. What more...
