Trailer Bar — Restaurant in Surf City

Some friends and I were in search of a nice restaurant that served food and stayed open late. When we arrived, no one greeted us for about 8 minutes so we were stranding around trying to get someone’s attention. There was only two tables on the inside of the building so EXTREMELY limited seating. And one person running the bar, We were under age so of course we weren’t expecting to be served alcohol or anything of the sort, and when one of the employees greeted us she was very polite, the only thing that was concerning was they only allow 21 and up but had no signs on the inside nor out and when I checked the other reviews, people had said they got food from here, but the employee told me they didn’t sell food only alcohol (which is illegal) and then recommended an even trashier restaurant we just came from but that’s for another review...

Trailer Bar straight up took my cash at the karaoke machine. Bar tender pressed pause after cops were called. Refused to refund my money that I put in the machine. I let her know I was not part of the reason the cops were called and I understood why she had to stop the music. However not returning my money after canceling service is unethical. It is pretty much stealing. If a bar has to cancel service. They should refund money to patrons that had nothing to due with whatever happened. I went out with my friends and they called last call at 1:12 and kicked us out at 1:30. When my friends and I were waiting on the porch for a taxi, the employees encouraged us to get into an unmarked car to take us home. They kicked us off the porch at 1:55 and were in their cars by 1:58. When I approached the unmarked car, the driver remarked that he was an Uber and the bouncer replied "see, I told you it was a taxi."
