Cindy's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Swampscott

I have been going here for 35 years every Friday night I would get a chicken finger sub and then every Sunday after football and cheerleading we would always get subs or pizza. Now as a mother every Sunday after football we carry on their tradition and we go to Cindy's and we get either pizza or subs. The owners have watched me grow up and now they're also watching my kids grow up it's bittersweet to have that kind of connection with the people in your community and they've made so many lasting memories for all of my family members and I'm sure for many many other families on the North shore especially Swampscott...

For 5 years I let the looks fool me, even though people said they had good pizza etc. Believe me I've heard that so many times about other places and would only be disappointed over n over again. Well I finally tried it and it's the best I have had on the North Shore. I'm a NY pizza snob and haven't had a good pizza since if lived here UNTIL NOW! If you want to know why New Yorkers Rave about their Pizza try Cindy's and you'll understand. Ordered a chicken kebab salad and a steak bomb. The chicken kebab salad was borderline in edible with the chicken being very chewy and very bland, and the dressing was overly sweet for a kebab salad. The produce itself was good quality but for the price that it was it was still very disappointing. The steak bomb was very mediocre. With steak bombs cheaper cuts of meat are part of the experience when they're shaved thin, but this steak was very chewy and had a poor taste.
