This bakery is a local treasure, and a FANTASTIC source for breads and desserts you can serve when entertaining or just to enjoy everyday! Everything is a small work of art -- lovely to look at, very classy and fancy -- and it all tastes as good as it looks. The cinnamon rolls are outstanding, as is the oatmeal bread, and the Scandinavian almond cake makes a far, far better birthday cake than the usual Crisco-with-sugar stuff people usually serve. Everything I've tried was much more flavorful and dense than what you'd buy in a grocery store...and with the almond cake in particular, just a one-inch slice is so satisfying that the cake serves more people than you might expect. In addition, Esther is a delight to work with and a truly gifted baker...so I highly recommend Nordshire to everyone looking for a great...
