Unacceptable! Let me start by saying I understand it is Saturday night before a holiday and busy. But there is no excuse for absolute lack of service experienced at the Swartz location tonight. We ordered 2 pizzas for dine in, We ordered around 6 pm at the counter. At almost 7 (between 6:50 and 7:00) the person who took our order came by our table to confirm our order. We told her it was half bacon half pepperoni (for the kids), she let us know she had been given pepperoni and Canadian bacon. We told her it was regular bacon. She agreed that was what she put in the system. I asked if it was almost ready, she said it was close and went back behind the counter. Six minutes later, the 12” sweep from the order came out. It was clear by the temperature of the pizza that it sat under a heat lamp while they attempted to rectify their mistake and make a new pizza. I brought the lukewarm pizza to the counter and asked for the manager. I explained the situation, she said that they would expedite a new 12”sweep and it would be out in 7 minutes. I asked about the 8” pep/bacon b/c it was for the kids and we were at 1 hr 15 m by this point and it was my main concern. She assured us the kids pizza was coming out of the oven and would be up directly. We decided this would be fine so the kids could eat and a fresh sweep would follow shortly. However, a minute or two after the discussion with the manager, the same associate that took our order came to our table with a sausage/ Canadian bacon pizza. This was more than was acceptable and we went to the counter to cancel the order and ask for a refund. The first manager we spoke with went to another manager so he could process the refund. He made no apologies but did refund the order. He did say that the sweep was about to be ready, and we could have it. By this time, we were not willing to wait for further disappointment and left. This was a major disappointment and the reason for this review. I grew up here, loving Johnny’s Pizza, bragging about how great it is. Every time I come into town, a Johnny’s pizza is a must! It was as if he knew that this pizza was made incorrectly because he knew exactly who I was, even told me he cut the pizza and didn’t see anything wrong! For a person to be a GM for two years at this chain you should have known your customer is always right! You should always make necessary changes to make your customer happy but this guy at this location, Scott refused. I’m not sure why he did it to our family on this night but I will saw every person of color isn’t the same, we don’t all look for FREE things or want hand outs! I counted 10 employees in the store when I got there and no one was on the phones. So I called one more time while I was there and still got a busy tone. While waiting one gentleman was waiting on his pizza to be remade because it was wrong and another waiting because they dropped his pizza. I see that their order board is full so I can understand a wait time however I couldn't place an order over the phone and even when I placed my order at the register she didnt give me a wait time.
