Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s scenic beauty, The Point Restaurant is a sanctuary for those seeking a culinary retreat. But among its many delights, one stands out as a beacon of flavor and craftsmanship: their Bloody Mary. This isn’t just a drink; it’s a masterpiece served in a glass. Crafted with the freshest local ingredients, The Point’s Bloody Mary is a harmonious blend of spice, zest, and spirit. Each sip is a revelation, a bold statement of taste that asserts itself with confidence and leaves you yearning for more. The tomato juice, rich and robust, forms the perfect canvas for the symphony of flavors that dance upon your palate. The horseradish, a fiery whisper, adds depth without overwhelming, while the Worcestershire sauce brings a subtle umami that complements the drink’s heartiness. And let’s not forget the vodka—smooth, clean, and perfectly integrated, it elevates the concoction to new heights. But what truly sets The Point’s Bloody Mary apart is its garnish game. A skewer adorned with pickled treasures and crisp vegetables crowns the drink, each element selected to enhance the overall experience. It’s like a garden party in your mouth, where every attendee brings its own unique charm. In a world where the art of the Bloody Mary is often lost to premixed mediocrity, The Point stands as a testament to what this classic cocktail can and should be. It’s not just a drink; it’s an experience, a journey through flavor that leaves an indelible mark on your memory.

Next time you are driving by, do yourself a favor and stop at the Point. We stopped in for a late lunch. Seated right away. Our server Kay, spoke clearly and well. She was friendly and helpful. Checked in on us just the right amount of times. The food was amazingly delicious. While we waited for our appetizer, which wasn't very long, we were treated to fresh hot bread and butter. Yum. The mushroom appetizer has mushrooms cooked 2 ways. One in a garlic butter sauce. I'd suggest saving a piece of bread to soak up every last drop of that goodness. The others were stuffed with pesto and topped with Gouda cheese. Oh my yumminess! One of us ordered the fosters grilled cheese. The menu is a bit misleading. It's more like a grilled thick cut bacon sandwich with cheese. He had a generous amount of sweet potato fries that were cooked just right. I decided to follow my appetizer with another and try the pickle fries. Oh man, that is certainly big enough to share! Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside fries with chopped bacon, chopped pickles and a dill sauce with deep fried pickle slices of course. Both of us had to take some of it home. The blackberry lemonade we took the refill to go as it was worth the treat. Again, do yourself a favor and stop at The Point. Delicious. And if you are riding through, they had 8 dedicated motorcycle parking spots.

We went here due to great reviews. Maybe what I ordered was just not what I was expecting or maybe just a fluke. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken tasted good, it was a tenderloin I believe, instead of an actual piece of chicken, like I said it was fine. The waffle however was the over the top sweet. This is where I think something was wrong. There were crunchy bits in the Waffle not just a few but every bite was packed with them, it was actual sugar pieces. My teeth hurt after eating just one waffle, it was so sweet and crunchy, nothing like any waffle I have ever eaten. I love my sweets too. I made my husband try it too and he said the same thing. Since I don't see any other negative reviews about this, it must of been something off. My husband ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and he loved it. We will return if ever in the area again, just no more waffles for me.

I've eaten there twice. It's a great looking place. Both times I've eaten there, the weather has been bad which stunk because I am sure it would be amazing to sit outside and eat and have some drinks when the weather is nice. That's not to say that the inside areas are bad. They have two areas, one of which is sure to fit your fancy. The main dining area is a large comfortable space with lots of seating options, and there is a bar area too. I ate in the bar both times and I loved it. It's a basic bar where you can order your favorite mixed drinks, (it has tables and chairs by the way, not just a bar with stools) I never tried ordering some crazy drink so I don't know if they can accommodate that. The bar looked like it had a wide variety of choices though. The food is delicious! I REALLY like the homemade buns. I ate the chicken bacon ranch sandwich the first time and the bacon cheese burger the second. My friend had the chicken bacon ranch both time 'cause he liked it so much. I can tell you from experience that the owner and the staff all have a lot of pride in their quality of service, business reputation, and your satisfaction. They definitely went the extra mile with me and it really made me leave with a smile, not to mention a full stomach. It was really fun to eat there, and if you have a family and you wanna go out, or you are out doing some boating on the lake, this would be a great place. I can't wait to eat there when it is actually summer, I am sure it will be 10...
