Whenever I visit Columbus, I always stop by this place! I first tried the chicken and loved it. I always get white pieces of chicken and it’s fried hard, but still juicy. With that being said, I now love the whole catfish. It too is tasty, nice size pieces, and all the food is always fresh and hot. It’s cooked fresh, and you can taste it. For the sides I’ve had the potato wedges, coleslaw, and okra. I do like all of them, and I’m picky about coleslaw. The inside is clean but looks like a diner slightly, with enough seating to eat, but nothing fancy. I do eat there sometimes because there is some distance between the two cities. The absolute worse service I've ever received amywhere!!! I understand the food is cooked to order. But I ordered 3 2-piece white meat meals and 1 3-wing meal and I watched at least 12 people come in, order, get their orders and leave while I waited 45 minutes for my order!! After about 30 minutes I asked twice and was told each time my order was next as I watched other customers walk out with their orders😠 Usually the owner is up front and things flow better, but OBVIOUSLY he was not there! This was my first time coming here since I’ve been wanting to try this place for about a year now. I ordered some 10 pc wings w/ honey garlic sauce and fries. BABY when I tell you them wings hit, them babies hit! I’ve never even tried wings with honey and garlic on them but now I’m going to make it my business to keep trying new sauces 😎 The fries were good too, pretty much what you’d expect.
