We were in an RV & boondocking through Harvest Hosts at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum which is 7 tenths of a mile away from Lulu's down I-10. Since our car was put away in our trailer and the museum locks the gate at 5/6pm, we decided to walk to Lulu's for dinner. I'm legally blind and use a guide cane and my husband was my sighted guide on this walk to dinner. There's no walkway of any sort from the museum to the restaurant, so due to my blindness, I was uncomfortable with the walk on busy I-10. However, it was under 20 minutes & a great way to work up an appetite for yummy Mexican food & work off your dinner afterwards if you're also boondocking at the museum. Make sure to watch out for gators and fire ant hills when you're walking in the grass next to the road.

Now to Lulu's. It wasn't a typical taqueria of which we are used to back in OH & ones we've come across traveling North America. It was very modern & bright inside & exceptionally clean. The bathrooms were spotless as well. It was small- maybe 10 tables. As far as alcohol, they offered beer and a small wine selection.

Chips & salsa is served when you are seated. Salsa was very mild. Hubby liked it. I like my salsa much more spicy so I would have liked it kicked up a bit in the heat category but it was still very good. The queso we ordered was very creamy & you get a huge portion.

I ordered the Lulu's burrito and it was bigger than my head! I have leftovers for another meal. I got it with the grilled chicken and it had huge pieces of grilled chicken in it. It was so good. Best burrito I've had in a very long time. Hubby got 3 tacos each with a different meat. He cleaned his plate. He said all of the meats had a ton of flavor which is often lacking at other places we've been.

All in all, well worth the walk for sure. We were both craving some authentic Mexican food and Lulu's Taqueria did not disappoint. Service, cleanliness, food =A+. If we are ever passing through again in our travels across North America, we will definitely...

4th time ordering delivery from Door Dash. This will be our last order. Food has been great until tonight. I would not have posted this had their website had any contact info other than phone. Attempted to call twice around 6:30PM to discuss issues. No answer, only voice mail. Website has no other contact info (social media icons do not work, no message box, no email.)

Delivery arrived on time. Garlic Shrimp had poured out in the bottom of the bag and all over the closed containers of the other food and was able to work down into both orders of chicken soft tacos making both soggy but one order was soaked. The garlic Shrimp tasted like they had used a garlic clove or two that was brown and had that moldy earthy smell to it. The fajitas were awful. The steak, chicken and shrimp tasted like they were boiled in water and all the veggies tasted boiled too and were the same consistency. It was almost like Fajita Fondue or soup. The portion was very small. I feel zi could have gotten better food and larger portions from a food court or gas station somewhere. The worst was the tortillas that came with it. Who eats Fajitas on corn tortillas? You cant roll a stuffed corn tortilla well at all. The one order of tacos that were not totally soaked would have been great as usual but they still had that bad garlic taste and were a little soft due to the liquid that...

I sat down to eat, and this would have been the third time that I went to this establishment to eat. I ordered a taco meal and they do not have a taco meal that comes with tomatoes and lettuce to put on the tacos. So after 10 minutes he came back and told me that they would not be able to give me any tomatoes or lettuce for less than five dollars. I even ask them is there a meal that I can have tacos and this particular stuff Simple chopped tomatoes and chopped lettuce just to put on my tacos. They told me that it would be five dollars for the toppings for my tacos so I kindly declined stood up and left. There are too many places to eat in Tallahassee for somebody to pester you about a few pieces of chopped up tomatoes and lettuce. My family and I will not be eating at this location ever again like I said, there are far too many places in Tallahassee, who are more...

I stopped by and ordered the asada fries. They were okay, but not particularly memorable. The fries were slightly undercooked and lacked seasoning, and the steak had a flavor that seemed mixed with chorizo, which wasn’t quite what I expected. The atmosphere was a bit underwhelming—it felt more like a repurposed sports bar than a traditional Mexican restaurant. The bathrooms could also use some attention, with a broken soap dispenser, a damaged trash can lid, and limited toilet paper. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t stand out either. I’d consider giving them another try, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
