Wawa — Restaurant in Tallahassee

I had heard that some people were excited about a Wawa coming to Tallahassee in part for the food and finally decided to check it out. I cannot say how much I hate not having at least a screen menu to see what they offer and the price differentials before ordering. No, I do not care if other places do this also, I hate it and will always go to a place that does not have this if I have the choice. I ordered a 6-in Italian sub on wheat roll and a personal cheese pizza. The sub was something like subway with a better bun and maybe better cold cuts. The pizza was inedible. My wife and I each took a couple of bites and it was disgusting and, for maybe the first time in our lives, almost a whole pizza was put in the trash. The crust was crumbly like pie crust or something but in the worst of ways, the sauce was gross and there was too much of it, and the cheese was a very bland and there was far too little of it to cover up the rest of the flaws. I am somewhat of a pizza snob, but I cannot remember the last time that I threw away almost a whole pizza. So, I would never stop at a Wawa on purpose for food unless no other options or if traveling with a group and forced to, in which case I'd recommend a sub or anything other than that godawful "pizza". I'm an 61yrs of age female, I have a few medical issues going on in my life, can't see very well, and concentration not so great, but I was at this store getting gas,decided I wanted a sub,for me n my sister, I didn't understand how to order the food because never did before, and it was a little difficult, So I asked nicely, can someone help me, not once, but twice, they told me No,and they were for real, because nobody did,I was so mad.So yall need to train your staff better, because I have never heard of no shit like this before, u got a business, but u can't help the handicap, and that me I am disabled and if I wasn't, they should not treat customers like that.,and for that reason, I haven't been back, and probably...

It's always slow, rude staff, and the prices are high, but it's poor quality food. For example they charge $4.09 + tax for 2 meatballs that are most likely ordered frozen out a bag with blan sauce on it. They are the size of a chicken nugget so thats a rip off. Everytime I order curbside the never bring my food out. I go in and they just say I thought someone else did it, or just call us next time. I always reply is the call required? They say not at all. If I needed to call then what am I putting in my space# for? They only positive thing is the rewards programs via the app, and also a good sale from time to time. Can't wait...
