Crossroad's Restaurant — Restaurant in Tallapoosa

We went on Thursday night at 7pm. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. We ordered our food: fried pickles for an appetizer, 2 kids corn dogs w/ mac & cheese, chicken livers w/ mac & cheese and the chicken delight w/ green beans). It took over an hour to get our appetizer. Our waitress didn’t come check on us after she took our order, she didn’t come check on us after she brought the appetizer. We had to wait until we saw her to wave her down and we asked to have our entrees packed to go. It was 8:45pm when we finally received our meals, and the restaurant closes at 9pm. First time here, so will start with the good. Though the waitstaff were all teenagers, they took very good care of us and were very friendly. I ordered rib eye steak and it was so chewy and salty, it was inedible. Sent it back and Mae charged me very little for the salad I had. The banana pudding was dry and tasteless. My wife and I have ordered from here several times and the quality of our food is never very good. Our steaks are consistently cooked incorrectly. Their fries are bland, mushy, and not seasoned. My wife ordered a salad and it was all lettuce with one tiny slice of tomato and onion. They were less than 2" in diameter. Their 8 oz. ribeye is now $14.49, up $2. For these prices you would expect to get better food. Probably wont order...
