Some of the best Italian food in the Tampa Bay area! This little restaurant in Palm River about 10 minutes east of Brandon makes the best lasagne I HAVE EVER HAD!! Meaty and fulfilling. And I grew up in the very Italian/ Sicilian western area of Essex county New Jersey and NYC in the 60's, 70's & 80's where the Soprano's TV show was based so believe me I know Italian. Their tomato sauces are rich, flavorful & robust giving their pizza and pasta dishes that old-fashioned "real" Italian flavor. They use real parmagiana cheese in abundance on pizzas and baked pasta dishes like manicotti, shells, zitti, baked spaghetti with Italian sausages or meatballs and more. All dinners come with a healthy salad including olives & onions like an antipasta, and light garlic bread. They also make awesome subs, salads and even non-Italian seafood platters and some Latin foods. The owners are apparently Latin from Rhode Island originally so they bring with them that great US northeast style Italian-American cooking style. Mangia...

CLEAN, delicious, big menu, great value for the money. Would come here regularly.
Longer version: In town on a job, and in this part of town food options nearby are very limited. I decided to stop in here instead of driving 20 minutes to sit down somewhere else. The restaurant is unassuming outside, with a couple of basic tables inside, and absolutely SPOTLESS.

I sat down, waited about ten minutes, and they handed me a BEAST of a quesadilla. It was twice what I was expecting. Tasted great! That and a soda was like $15. Worth it.
I saw they had a little flyer up that they do fresh juices, which I didn't see mentioned online. In the summer that's ALWAYS nice. Next time I'm back in the area, I'll...
Read moreWe usually order from this pizzeria but they last few times it hasn't been great. They've gave us incorrect order twice now, and tonight while saying about it, we were given attitude and dirty looks. Also, we were spoken negatively about in Spanish. I'm a fair skinned Puerto Rican, so not many know or expect that I understand it. They also were arguing in the back in front of customers and ignored one that walked in to try to place an order for well over 5 mins. When they did acknowledge the gentleman, told him they were closed but then allowed two other younger men come in after to place orders. Good food there, but definitely not worth the attitude especially when it's on them that they messed...
