Arrived here and was not offered to see the menu, nor was the menu clearly visible. the lady at the front was just staring irritably at us until I asked to see a menu. Food looked old and not very appetizing but we gave it a try. Needless to say it tasted as good as it looked. The plantains that came with the food tasted rancid and I could not eat them. The chicken was dry. We also orderes the steak sandwich and it was worse than if I had made at home. The restaurant inside is decorated and furnished to be a nightclub and the tables are really small so it was uncomfortable to sit there and eat. I went because getting food from a Spanish place is cheap and I love that. I came in asking for a chicken dinner for 30 bucks but they didn’t have any which is fine. I needed dinner to serve 4 people and I asked if they would help me out with to go trays filled individually with with rice, chicken, vegetables and a container of small beans. THATS IT. It was just so I can come home and everyone makes their plate. I get the total and it was 75 dollars not even with tips because I always tip. I was blown I would’ve thought it was 40 and no more. I’m sure they overpriced me or scammed me so I recommend not coming here unless you get the chicken combos. Other Spanish places have given me food tray filled up for like $12 a tray. I wasted my time and money eating here, the service was not good. No one greets you, those young girls have no customer service skills. When you walk into a restaurant you’re suppose to feel welcomed, not even a smile from anyone, they don’t offer a menu and didn’t even ask what I would like today.
