Okay so I saw someone review this place on Instagram and I was like I must go now because the food looks so good. so I get there there is a line that moves at a decent pace. The seating is very limited. The atmosphere is dark. It is definitely Instagram worthy photos that you can get. I did not check the bathroom though. I’m sure it was pretty cool cause I did see someone open the door and it looked like it was fine. The staff is super friendly and I hope they don’t ever change that. so far I have went twice the first time I ordered the crabcake and the Philly cheese steak eggrolls. Oh my God, the crabcake is fire. The Philly cheesesteak I have definitely had better to me. It seems as though the steak was mixed with hamburger meat. I could very well be wrong. There was a lot of cheese on top of it as well, but it was missing mushrooms, green bell peppers, and that Philly cheesesteak taste to me, but it looks amazing. The shrimp and rice did not match the meal, but I pretty much ate the shrimp also. Barely touched the rice. It was a little bit undercooked and again it just did not match. The size of the egg rolls though. Very filling. I like that the menu also is not overwhelming. But I almost want to try everything. I came back today and the line was a little bit longer and the service was a lot slower. Everything seems cool. I ordered the shrimp pasta and split it with my granddaughter. Of course I got a crab cake too. The pasta was amazing. It was seasoned so well. I also ordered their lemonade the red one and I was highly disappointed because it literally was the taste of the Hawaiian Punch powder that you poured into a bottle of water spot on. It was five dollars. I busted out laughing when I took a sip. I really think they need to figure out a different recipe for their juice. I don’t know about the pineapple one or the mango one or whichever one that is that yellow but the red one is Hawaiian punch powder packs. I will never order anything to drink from there again the reason why I didn’t order a drink before is because they had canned pop and they were just putting it in the fridge so I knew it would be warm. There is a grocery store right next-door. I went and got something out of there. Overall, this place gets a four I didn’t want to give it something lower like 3 1/2 but I know that that food was good so far both times that I went they are completely out of dessert. I went at 3 o’clock today. There should be plenty of dessert. But I guess it’s not of importance to them. I still cannot get over the juice they tried it. I do recommend this place because overall the food was pretty decent. The shrimp pasta was I will never order the Philly cheesesteak again. I initially was going to sit in the restaurant and eat however there is music playing that sounds really really good but there is somebody in the kitchen, whistling extremely loud and messed up every song that was playing. I love listening to music and thought that was super cool that they entertained us with music but if you gon whistle, cringe. But it is their establishment they can do whatever they want. I was just completely annoyed by that. Only other suggestions that I would have for this restaurant is a different way of calling out the order the place is dark. It does not give screaming out the order real loud, but that’s what was happening. I don’t know how that could be resolved, but it’s giving a restaurant and maybe it’s not....
Read moreI went to Tampa to celebrate my birthday somewhere new, and when it came time for dinner I decided to go somewhere local vs something I can get at home. Searched for food near me, looked at the menu and pictures and decided to try. BEST DECISION EVER. Atmosphere was very cool, it was very clean, amazing music and vibes. The Gentleman who was at the register greeted me warmly and went over the main menu and daily specials with care. There were soooo many super delicious sounding options. I got the garlic salmon shrimp and mash potatoes special to go. The wait was decent , not too long or short. It was the right amount of time for food like that to being it was made fresh. The time waiting didn't feel like it was too long as well due to the amazing music selection vibing in the resturaunt. It did get a little full, and seating was limited but not crowded. Everyone that came in was kind and respectful to one another and adjusted as needed without being asked to make sure everyone could get in comfortably. When I got my food, and then took that first bite of shrimp in the car before taking the drive back to the hotel, I throught I was going to have to eat my entire meal right then and there it was soooo good. When I got to the hotel and ate the entire meal... just perfect. Shrimp and salmon. Cooked to perfection and had soooo much flavor from the sauce to the general seasoning. Juicy and delicious and not overwhelming garlic, just right. Mash potatoes were the right mix of creamy and thick and seasoned just right. Each item was its own dish, so it didn't feel like it was all seasoned the same with the same sauce for example. 1000/10! Looooved it! And definitely reccomend it for anyone looking for something delicious to have made been a talented and skilled chefs...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at The Outside Kitchen, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The menu is a delightful fusion of flavors that truly showcases the creativity and talent of the chefs.
To start, I ordered the Rasta Pasta, which was a vibrant medley of spices and flavors. The creamy sauce paired beautifully with the pasta, and the addition of peppers and herbs added a fresh touch. The highlight, though, was the Fried Lobster. It was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and succulent inside. Each bite was a burst of ocean goodness!
Next up was the Seafood Rice, which was a delicious mix of perfectly cooked rice, shrimp, and other seafood. The seasoning was spot on, making it a comforting yet exciting dish. I could have eaten a whole plate of this!
The Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls were another standout. These were crispy, golden, and packed with flavor. The combination of gooey cheese and savory steak wrapped in a crunchy exterior was simply divine. I appreciated the playful twist on a classic dish.
To wash it all down, I tried the Blue Lemonade. It was refreshingly sweet and tart, making it a perfect complement to the meal. The vibrant color was also a fun addition to the table!
Lastly, the little pink cakes were the perfect way to end the meal. They were moist, flavorful, and just the right size for a sweet finish.
Overall, The Outside Kitchen exceeded my expectations with its diverse and delicious offerings. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique...
