China King Buffet — Restaurant in Tappahannock

Is it so difficult to put utensils in the to-go bags, people??? Guess I gotta blame myself for not checking but it should be common sense to put the unwrapped open sitting on the counter all day flimsy can barely handle lifting a scoop of rice but beats nothing fork in the bag with the pick up lunch special..... Edit.... Did yall start ordering chicken from a bubblegum factory? Because chicken is supposed to be soft and break down and be swallowable after 4-7 chews. At least gum is soft and tastes good but this dry, tough, stringy chicken that I had to spit out in a trash can would probably outlast any piece of chewing gum on the market. Looks like you need to start cleaning out whatever you cook rice in as well because a quarter of mine looked like something that had been sitting in the corner of the pot for a few days as it was completely broke down into mush and didn't even have to shape of rice anymore. Looks like a grainy paste. Really going down hill for a couple...

Went to get the buffet but there was no food on the buffet and no one to seat you. We were all just standing there. So we called the restaurant and asked could someone seat us for buffet and he came out the back. The fresh food that they bought out every five minutes was good but there was old dried up food on the buffet. The waitress didn’t speak English so if you ordered water, you got a coke. Our ice tea came with no ice. One guy was running from the kitchen to the cash register. It appeared that he may have been helping to cook also but I do know he was helping to fix the orders. Most people were doing take out orders. When leaving I said if doing buffet, there is no food and a guy waiting said don’t ever do buffet, do takeout. There was one lady trying to do takeout with a box and she was waiting for them to put some food...

I've eaten here a lot. The food is normally good, but my issue is with their service. My family ate there and apparently charged full price for a two year old. They left a review, and one day I picked up my order, and they wanted to talk to me about a review that I didn't make and wasn't even there for that experience. Another time, I placed an order online, and a personal issue came up. I was unable to make it, so I called to let them know. She asked me why. None of your business why. You're lucky I called at all. Then a couple days ago, I picked up an order. They always ask what did you order. I said a lot of stuff; it was an online order and like $70 dollars in food.
