The food is delicious, which makes the staffs general lack of care and service all the more frustrating and sad. I understand there's a pandemic right now and you have signs plastered everywhere to be kind, be patience and that your staff are extremely busy, but that's a complete lie and you need to teach your staff to practice what you're preaching. First of all, we tried multiple times to call ahead and nobody answered so we just went anyways hoping it'd be open. Upon arriving there was a man working the door but we weren't sure if we should go in or if he was coming to take our order. Nobody else was in the store so he told us to come in and head to the window when we were ready. The girl that helped us (Abby) was nice to me at first but when my husband went to order she suddenly got a horrible attitude and dismissed his every word. We asked for cheese on his chicken sandwich 3 separate times then when she read our order back to us it was still wrong. When I pointed it out she's like "I'll have to check if we can do that". After all that my husband's order was still wrong! They gave him just the sandwich instead of the meal as he asked. We followed protocol and waited outside until our number was called and when we went in found that our frappes were missing. The worker that was manning the door said to flag it when someone came to the window next. Well, because of covid nobody would open the window or give us the time of day to see what we were waiting on. After at least 5 minutes of just waiting I went up to the window again and waited there. All the while Abby was "counting drinks" with a line out the door, the phone ringing off the hook in the back, and everyone seeming too preoccupied to help us. Even the worker manning the door came up to me again and asked what I was missing and I said 2 coffee Oreo frappes and his response was "oh yeah you have to make sure to tell them about those at the window so you get them" 🤔 I ordered the shakes just like everything else, they should be with my meal when you call my number! Finally, one poor guy who seemed to be doing everything came to the window to help me. I showed him our receipt and said we were waiting on our frappes. He looks at the receipt, looks at the girl next to me counting drinks, and says "Abbbbbyyyyyy" and she just responded "I knoooow". We've now been waiting at LEAST 10 minutes after our number was called for our shakes and she'd been playing on her phone behind the counter before and counting sodas now and watched us wait and get frustrated and she knew the whole time she never made our shakes! What kind of service is that?!?!

Needless to say we left feeling frustrated and upset! The food is sooooooo delicious we hate that it's been tainted by such horrendous service. When we arrived it wasn't busy, it was a rainy Saturday night, there's no reason for a delay like this. I have compassion for your business and your workers that's why I chose to risk myself to go out and support you, but in your lack of care and service you betrayed that compassion. This is inexcusable whether there's a...

So had been by this place number of times without stopping in. Saw that they had some seafood on the menu and so ordered a seafood platter.

Girl at the front took the order and she was extremely pleasant. She said that their seafood platters are very large and definitely wouldn't recommend it for only one person as I assured her it would be two of us.

After a fairly long wait for fried food about 25 minutes especially since they were very few customers maybe five waiting for their food,we finally got the call to get the food. I'm guessing they cook their seafood in a very small fryer?

Well, I was informed that they had no scallops and that they had forgotten to tell us. Not good. They asked me what I would want for a substitution and I said well scallops are tough to substitute so I'll take lobster not really expecting they would give me lobster. They said well anything except lobster. I opted for extra clams which was ok'd by the cook and said we'll give you extra. I was there for the scallops so that was a big disappointment. After waiting an extra 10 or 12 minutes I would be disappointed again.

The small pizza box take out container could not hold much food could it? For $33 I was hoping that little pizza box would have been stuffed full of food. It was not. Very skimpy portions hardly any fish, obviously no scallops, maybe nine clams maybe 10, two good sized shrimp, and two large fried fritter type things with virtually nothing in them, and an average portion of french fries. I think they were supposed to be lobster or clams in the fritters but it was all dough. Even the coleslaw container was slightly more than half full and they were not large containers.

Unacceptable especially for $33 where you can go to Plymouth or down to Acushnet/New Bedford and get twice as much for about the same cost.

Outdoor atmosphere was good with pretty clean picnic benches in a nice park area. Some choose to sit in their vehicle and eat but since it was so nice out that was the highlight along with the girl that took the order.

I had made it clear that it was our first time there so you would think they would have given us a little bit more if they wanted a return customer. I would hate to see how many clams they would give out if there were no substitutions for the scallops. What would they give us three? Since onion rings were not supposed to be included in the meal, I'm pretty sure they gave us two extra onion rings to substitute for the scallops. I'm not joking.

Maybe this place is just better off for burgers and hot dogs? In any case, I won't be finding out as I will...

Help save this true jewel when's it's gone it's gone we need more things like this in our life. It helps us to remember how things used to be, whether that's good or bad i don't know places like sonic. Don't make it easy for places like this. All I ask is remember that this is the last of a dieing breed. So help them and go buy your family some dinner and put those Electronics down for and hr and rember what it is like to have real family time one on one face to face these electronics are making us sort fused, antisocial and distant. For the sake of your family, talk to your children. you know what it feels like to make that connection with your kids. The same feeling we had when we first seen them when they were born, that compassionate, feeling you get inside, that you'll do anything for them and won't let anything happen to them. That connection is (family). We are all family, and we need to remember that when one of us hurts, it hurts all of us whether you see it or not Now or later, eventually it is seen bye you at some point in your life, it will affect you. Remember try to see yourself in that other human that you choose not to help. Help comes in many forms like words, actions, or a simple smile, or a hello, so remember we are all the same we are human all of us. We are just trying to please someone whether it's ourselves or someone outside of ourselves. It's always about being compassionate in your thoughts and desires and decision. But remember, when you choose not to help somebody that somebody could be you. Go with Oneness. Go...

Great spot for delicious food with a nostalgic twist! Having been craving a simple cheeseburger similar to that of Old McDonalds style or Dicks Burgers in Washington State, just the smell of this place driving brought me in. Boasting quite the menu beyond just flat-topped burgers, shakes, and fries they carry so many different types of things you really can't go wrong for the picky eaters or the foodie. They have salads, wraps, sandwiches, fresh seafood, and sweet treats like ice cream. The "StarBurger w/ Cheese" was my first choice and led me to the promised land of Flavortown. After that I had to try the Linguica roll and that was delectable and simple. Smashing some chili fries next to that brought it all home and I'm now hooked on this place. The steak sandwich on a hoagie roll was OK, tasty, but not worth the price like the other items I've loved. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the place look relatively clean for a place that's been around for ages. If you need a quick lunch, a unique dinner, or to cure a sweet tooth this is the place to go for sure! Get there and maybe we can share some French fries!

Back for the first time this summer and feeling like we came on an "off" day. Maybe someone new in the kitchen because the food wasn't up to their usual standards which are high. I ordered the clan cakes and chowder. Chowder was delicious, but clam cakes were undercooked lacking that crunchy exterior you can typically rely on here. They were greasy as if the oil wasn't up to proper temp. Hubby ordered the chili cheese dog and an orange freeze. Chili now has beans (why?) and the dog was a mess, but the orange freeze was delightful on a hot summer day. Counter staff was wonderful, as always. They really do hire amazing young people here. Friendly and helpful. The parking is abundant and there are plenty of places outside to enjoy your meal as well as a few stools at the counter inside. Overall, gonna give the food a 3 this time around, but everything else gets 5 stars. We'll definitely be back and hope the issues with food this visit were just a fluke. Still would recommend to anyone looking for a nice little local spot serving fresh seafood, burgers and hot dogs.
