You absolutely live up to your name! We were at a veterans club near Grand Rapids for a birthday celebration (8-30), where they were passing out donated loaves of your bread at closing time. A HUGE loaf of Detroit Wheat! We refrigerated that loaf, and it fed us, and many others, all across Michigan at music festivals. French toast, garlic bread, crustinis, sandwiches, breakfast toast...it was fresh and delicious at every meal! We just finished the last piece with dinner. I'm from Germany and we call American bread "Toast Bread" because that's this "stick to the roof of ones mouth" bread is all that's good for! My local Kroger is selling some of Michigan Bread Bakery's products, and I've purchased their sourdough bread a couple of times now. The loaf is massive, (42 oz.), an incredible value at $4.99, and the crust, interior texture, and flavor are as close to perfect as I've ever had the pleasure to eat.
