If I could give less stars I would. I came there for lunch with my co-worker and we ordered at the exact same time. Both got a "zalad". His came out in 5 minutes, mine on the other hand took nearly 15 minutes and when it came out it was wrong. I ordered a buffalo blue salad with extra blue cheese crumbles. We reoeated extra blue cheese crumbles 3 times while placing my order. When it came out it had no blue cheese crumbles. No big deal just grab me some and I can eat, but NO. I asked for blue cheese crumbles, and was told I needed to get in the back of the line to order them and pay for them. After waiting 10 minutes in line while my salad was just sitting on the counter, the guy at the register turned around started doing something else. 5 minutes later he said what can I do for you. I only get 30 minutes for lunch. My co worker had already eaten and was waiting for me in the truck before I even got to place my order. After all that I was so mad I just wanted my money back. So I had to go an entire day without eating lunch because of their horrible service working outside in the heat. They need to teach their employees customer service. As someone that grew up working in restaurants if someones food is not correct. You make it correct before helping 15 other customers. You never just let food sit there on the counter for 15 minutes, and when the salad comes with bleu cheese crumbles and you dont put any on there, you dont tell someone to get in the back of the line to pay for something that you are supposed to get anyway. Read moreI pride myself on being a patient person, but this customer service was horrible. The drive thru wait was long, and when I reached the window, I understood why- there was a new young lady training. Fair enough, we’ve all been there. I give her my debit card to pay for my amount. It seemingly takes longer than usual, but she returns my card back. I believe it was a manager came over to her and asked did a receipt come, her repo se was “no”. He then proceeds to tell her that if there was no receipt, my meal wasn’t paid for. She then asks to run my card again, and I immediately check my account online. She has indeed charged me twice. The manager proceeds to walk off again until I yell through the window that I was double charged. The only answer he could give me was that the payment will be reversed after midnight. No apology for my lost money, no apology to the new girl that he clearly lied to. That double-charge could’ve been all I could afford. That double-charge could’ve set off a chain reaction of overdraft fees. I don’t blame the new girl, I blame management. Stop being lazy and train staff the right way. Read moreI am a frequent Zaxby's customer, however this was only my second time at 2889 Heckle blvd. The experience at this particular location was severely below average. Last night upon arriving, multiple guests were still waiting on their food, which I understand happens due to timing, however- after placing our order and paying, we were told that they were out of chicken fillets which is rather surprising considering their specialty is chicken... anyway, they were also out of half of the drinks on their freestyle machine and the drink area was disgusting along with the bathrooms which were out of soap. I understand that restaurants run out of supplies but I find it to be concerning when there are childish sticky notes everywhere behind the counter saying things like "this oven is for baking cookies, not a personal heater". Maybe management needs to spend some time reviewing inventory rather than putting notes through the service area. Verbal communication is key when it comes to running...
