Just splurged on some takeout for my daughter and I. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and Papa Crema Roll. A. The Teriyaki Chicken is incredibly dry. B. The Teriyaki Chicken has ZERO sauce. It's not underneath, it's not pooled to one side. There is NONE. C. The Roll has inconsistent fillings. (Avocado only through 1/2 of the roll, Salmon only through 1/2, crab through the other 1/2). The toppings are askew due to being in a takeout container, so that's not their fault. Being in a container however, doesn't mean the filling is inconsistent). I came home and added my own sauce hoping to help the Teriyaki Chicken, but the dryness makes it inedible. The meal was $32. While the roll can be eaten, it wasn't made how it should have been, and I can't help but feel like I just threw away $32. (The "Teriyaki" dish is not edible. Even the rice is dry and the vegetables mushy. I don't go around overly criticizing businesses, but this is terrible).

Had a short while before we had to go to a meeting so we serendipitously stopped in. Our waitress was so good and very helpful. Jolene even sung part of the song that is her name. Daniela showed us how to use chopsticks by wrapping them in a napkin in a certain way. We had Vegan Rolls and Cheese Rolls. Dessert was a Thai roll. All were delicious! Service was quick!! The bathrooms were clean. The one thing that could be improved on was the lighting. More lightbulbs needed to be put in the overhead ceiling lights. Also a different font and larger font on the menu would be helpful. The young men who were cooking and preparing the sushi were delightful! The entire staff took pride in what they were doing. We would recommend Rice Kitchen and will be back.

Very good place nice and clean very nice people working here. Answer my questions about the food . I got the walnuts shrimp and Broccoli it was delicious. I got the appetizers with four different things in it. Very good i could have just eaten that. My husband got the fish dish is so very good. It was good fusion of America, Japanese, and Thai. My husband said it was not spicy but to me it had a kick. If you are in the area or you want to try something different give a try. Its not to from Knoxville. We will be back. Hats off to them.

We almost didn’t stop in… the outside wasn’t very inviting & we thought it might be just a take out place. We ventured in and although the ambiance was very plain, the greetings from the staff was warm & inviting. We chose the Bento box & we were amazed at the beautiful & full plate that was brought to us. Everything was absolutely delicious! Light salad, crispy spring rolls, delicious fried teriyaki Tofu and fresh/tasty sushi - it was all so surprisingly good! We were served by the owner’s wife (that’s how she identified herself!). No alcohol is served but you can bring your wine. Living in Knoxville, we plan to regularly make a special trip to this area especially...
