Very bad experience tonight I went in there around 9:30 it's funny because one of the I guess they're waitresses or bartenders that are behind the counter she greeted me and made eye contact with me as I walked in the door but as I sat down at the bar area no one ever acknowledged me or walked up to me to ask me what I needed or what I wanted or anything to that nature there's literally seven individuals sitting at the bar and they all have the things that they needed you have one person who works for shamrock who's having a conversation and then you have the other one who's sitting there putting together forks and napkins rolling them and napkins with a customer who she later told me is a bartender they continue to act as if I'm not there until I wave her down after another customer is sitting there choosing through a candy jar of what type of candy she wants out of the jar she walks over to me and tells me that she doesn't she didn't know that I was sitting there but in fact one of them waved at me as I walk through the door all of this can be seen on the camera, she didn't walk in the back and I'm thinking that she's going to make my drink I tell her what type of drink I would like which is a Johnny Vegas she doesn't make the drink a few minutes later someone comes out a whole different person who I never seen and the first thing that she says to me as she walks to the cash register is you wanted a Johnny Vegas and I'm like yes and then she says okay in a manner as if I'm bothering her never knew she was a bartender didn't know any of that I don't even know why she approached me in that manner she goes on to type things on the computer she took my ID which I gave to her and then went on to ask other people how to make a Johnny Vegas at this time I called her over and let her know normally the bartenders who don't know how to make a drink they'll say something to you not only here but anywhere I mean you are making the drink for the consumer and you should be trying to establish a rapport with them she goes well he's a former bartender that's why I asked him but I said ma'am you could have asked me or if you listen I would have let you know what it consists of I then went on to tell her what a Johnny Vegas consist of and she went on to make the drink the whole time had major attitude never really trying to repair the relationship which is what's supposed to happen if you're a server or waitress in that type of industry you should be trying to been make things right, and never got treated this way will not be coming back again and I promise anybody who listens to me I will tell them the same... I would love for someone to respond or pay attention to what happened with this whole situation because none of it was right I've come in here several times and has never been treated like this and I wouldn't recommend anyone at this time to go there that I know because it wasn't right I literally just came in there to get a drink after getting something to eat and going home and it took 30 minutes just almost 30 minutes just to order the drink and then to be treated that way and no one tried to make the experience better no one approached me and ask me any questions or anything like that was once great establishment would not at this time recommend...
Read moreA follow up to the revised response from the owner: A publicly posted review is a form of contacting the restaurant. Enough so that it got your attention immediately. Seeing that your response resulted in a threat I believe I already know what the end result of the phone call would have been. Being that you assumed it was me you had already talked to on the phone, its pretty clear that I wasn't the only person that was a victim of your establishment. My original review contains all the information you need to determine who the criminal is and when the theft occurred. I have in fact contacted the fraud department. Now, hopefully you will do the right thing and correct the situation before this happens to anyone else.
A follow up to the owners response: Excuse me? "After our phone call" we have never spoken on the phone. You must have me confused with someone else who was also a victim of your establishment. I know for certain that your staff was behind the fraudulent charges on my account as your establishment was THE ONLY place my card left my wallet in the Tampa area. The way in which you addressed this situation by making threats will only lead to your own demise, not mine.

BEWARE Credit Card Skimming by waiter! I was in town for business on Oct. 1st and visited this establishment with co-workers. We were served by a waiter named "Jose" or "Juan". I was alerted today by my credit card company that possible fraudulent activity was taking place. Upon reviewing my account, I found that someone used my card at a Colombian restaurant 10 miles away from this establishment to the tune of $122. This fraudulent charge occurred the day after I used my card to pay at Shamrock's and I had not used my card for anything else in the Tampa area.
I hope this establishment will properly address this issue so that other guests do not become...
Read moreThe owner of Shamrock's is a real upstanding guy! He takes the time to read each review and provides a responce (non angry or defensive might I add). Regarding my issue, he gave a genuine apology and offered me to come back so that he can make it right...following up with, he wants to keep me as customer. Although, I appreciated his apology, I had no intention of going back...but my taste buds had other plans...those delicious wings were calling me. I decided to stop by. Upon my hubby and I entering, we asked for the owner but he was not there. However, the nice server was concerned and wanted to help. I began to explain why I was asking for him and by the time I got to the six word, she immediately said "I know this situation and we are very sorry that happened, eveyone was talking about it and he made sure that you were to be taking care of, if you ever came back". I was in total shock, because not only did he write it, he actually put his words into action without me knowing anything (the genuine heart I spoke of). The server immediately got the manager on duty (although she was extremely busy durning lunch hour) she made sure that we were taking care of, as well as her other guest. The manger came out and was fully aware of the situation...he also apologized, stating "that is not how we do things here and the owner does not tolerate that kind of treatment towards customers, the proper disciplinary actions have been taken, and for your trouble...your entire meal is on is. How awesome is that! I was expecting a 10% discount, but noooooo....when the onwer said "give me another chance, to correct this and keep you as a customer", he ment just that! OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! from, responding to the review, to assuring all staff was aware, to covering the meal...you now have a new loyal customer! Thank you to all the staff that helped to turn my outlook around!
