I can’t get enough of this place! I love a good bagel and these are the best around. At first I wished they had the option to toast the bagels but when I bought them home and toasted them myself I learned that they are definitely meant to be served not toasted (untoasted?). It’s just better that way and i definitely wouldn’t have agreed with someone saying that until after I tried it myself. It takes some getting used to because I toast any other bagel but these are a different story.
They have good flavors and their options range from classic (plain, Asiago, onion, everything, etc) to funky (fruity pebble and Takis). The flavors are mild in terms of how strong the flavors taste. Sometimes I wish it was stronger but overall I can’t complain. I’m here almost every day they are open. My 2yo eats an entire bagel himself and he never finishes any other bagel I’ve ever gotten him so that says a lot for me!
The pastry’s are pretty good as well. I can’t rave about all of them as much as the bagels but honestly it’s probably because they are handmade and not loaded with additives and sugar like I’m used to with other store bought stuff. I’m in love with their oatmeal cream pies and my husband loves their brownies.
I’ve tried the lemonade and their coffee a few times and those are both solid options. I’m a coffee snob and this fits my needs! Also, My son always loves getting a “cool bagel dude” (as he calls it) sticker from the people at the front and finding a new place in the house to stick it lol.
Overall I love this place and look forward to all they have to offer as...
Read morenice place considering central massachusetts is more void with coffee shops. bagels and coffee we have plenty of upscale roasters in ma you can try guest roasters. not sure of the flour mill sourced from. the tea has artificial emulsifier added to enhance the taste pallet. suggestions we have MEM tea imports in somerville its high quality nothing added. instead of Ghirardelli artificially flavored syrup house made syrup would be better espresso drinks will soon be on the list I see adjustments being made to bring even better experience to customers even using more organic stuff. i would still recommend anyone living near by or commuting to work to stop in eventually open 7...
Read moreMy daughter and I tried out Deer Creek for the first time this morning, the toasted French toast bagels with cinnamon sugar cream cheese is amazing. My daughter got the strawberry lemonade and it was sweet and delicious. The only suggestion I have is possibly better quality plastic cups, it cracked on the side very easily. It would be great to see them also incorporate lattes/espresso drinks into their menu someday, I think that would make me be a regular!! But overall the food, beverages and customer service...
