Big Creek Market — Restaurant in Tennessee

Our family of 11 after a long day of tubing decided to find a place to eat. We searched and came across this restaurant. As all 3 cars pulled in we hesitated and kind of stared at each other. It’s not very fancy on the outside. But we decided hey let’s do this. As we walked inside we observed 3-4 tables and a convenience store. The food smelled delicious….we ordered appetizers and let me tell you. It was the bomb! We ordered Cheese sticks and cheddar broccoli bites. The best were the cheddar broccoli bites. However the cheese sticks were great also. Next came my salad. It was so delicious. I thought ok maybe it’s because we were all starving. Shortly thereafter our food came out. We ordered cheeseburgers, cubed steak, chicken fingers, onion rings and fries. This is as some of the best food we have ever had. It’s true those hole in the wall restaurants are the best. My boyfriend and I were taking a trip and stayed in a cabin in the area. There was no service and were starving. We found this little spot, but it said that they just closed. It was around 7:10 pm and we had no idea where to go. We asked a man that was standing outside to see if they could direct us to a near restaurant. However, he called over one of the owners and she said she “couldn’t let us go hungry” and told us to come inside. Let me tell you, that was the sweetest thing anyone could do for us. Sandra is family, she married my cuz. She is such a beautiful person inside and out. Her food is amazing (home cooked country style). She has great morals as she does not allow alcohol at her diner.
